发帖数: 519 | 4 I have borrowed this book from library. I havenot read it yet, but have a look
at the contents. It seems he set forth a new typologies for sociological
theory. I am not sure whether his this approach is pervasive in sociolgocial
academic community. According to my reading, I feel that the traditional
typologies including conflict theory, functionalism, and symbolic
interactionism is very popular. I would prefer the sociological theory book
written by Ritzer, George.

发帖数: 588 | 5 各自有不同的风格吧,看个人的喜好而已.之所以选择Malcolm的书,主要看重的是他针对
社会学几个主要的研究主题在学科内的展开进程而组织章节的手法--这也许比较符合芝大
Levine老头的上课风格,所以就拿来参考了.当然,瑞泽尔的书也非常棒,他对后现代社会
理论也有很独到的见解.
