The Research Statistician will have overall responsibility for the
statistical analysis of data for the studies, whether the study is conducted
for submission to the competent authorities or an early feasibility/proof
of concept study.
As member of study teams, the Research Statistician will assist with study
design and protocol development, prepare statistical reports or statistical
section of reports and communicate with Study Team Leader and all members of
the study team.
Communicate with Project Leaders/Managers, Scientists, Regulatory Affairs
Managers and Regulatory Agency statisticians.
Collaborate actively with the other R&D statisticians in the US and Europe
and provide statistical services to the rest of the organization as needed.
Education Minimum Requirement:
* Master of Science degree in statistics (Ph. D. in statistics desired)
Required Experience and Skills:
* Minimum of three years experience in a research setting
* Excellent working knowledge of SAS including SAS programming
* Good working knowledge of data bases (Access, Excel, customized clinical)
* Scientific writing, organizational and communication skills are also
essential
Desired Experience and Skills:
* Experience in human biological or pharmaceutical development
* Knowledge of FDA/USDA regulations and expectations
