Everybody is looking at Saudi for production cut and there is no way Saudi
will do that single-handedly. Saudi is the one that started the war and
right now no one is claiming to reduce production including all the US and
canadian drillers. If Saudi does not stick to its strategy, it will lose
credibility in the future. With Saudi's production counts only 10% of world
production, there is no way Saudi will do it on its own. It has all the
benefit to suppress price for the time being until everybody is cutting
CapEX and production. Saudi has the deepest war chest and time is on Saudi's
side.
Right now when oil price is going down, EX&P company price is still going up
. When everybody is expecting OPEC good news for the oil, it is not going to
happen. No quick reversal for oil price period.
If the company you are buying can sustain on $75 oil, then hold it.
Otherwise you know what to do. |
