It is our first time and we assumed the due date is the same as tax return.
Are there anyway to get our reimbursement? How should we appeal?
Thanks! |

The dependent care FSA is federally capped at $5,000 per year. While married
spouses can each elect to have this amount deducted from their paycheck and
applied to expenses, at tax time all withdrawals in excess of $5,000 are
taxed.
Unlike medical FSAs, dependent care FSAs are not "pre-funded"; employees

that there are certain period we can file for reimbursement, Which I
presume it is by April 15. But I am quite confused.
In the FSA claim form, we are required to provide daycare receipt. Even
though the total amount is more than the limit, I still put the total amount
there. Is that a problem? Should I just put $5000 and ignore the total
amount? I thought as long as it more than $5000, then they will reimburse
5000.

company which charged the money from your pay check to refund you the
expense. In your case, you probably can not get the money back since you
past the deadline for filing. |

email提醒的吧?我收到的提醒上说一旦错过deadline他们就没有任何办法拿回钱了。 |
