第11届夏季奥林匹克运动会
the summer olympic games of 1936
第十一届奥林匹克运动会于1936年8月1日至16日在德国柏林举行
。
第一次世界大战结束后，德国被惩罚不准参加第七届、第八届奥
运会，直到1928年的第九届奥运会德国才被允许参加。1924年德国的
特奥多尔·莱瓦尔德当选为国际奥委会委员。1927年1月29日，莱瓦
尔德领导的德国奥委会致函国际奥委会，希望由德国主办第十一届奥
运会，并提出柏林、科隆、纽伦堡和法兰克福作为候选城市，与此同
时申办十一届奥运会的还有埃及的亚历山大、西班牙的巴塞罗那、匈
牙利的布达佩斯、阿根廷的布宜诺斯艾利斯、爱尔兰的都柏林、意大
利的罗马、芬兰的赫尔辛基。1932年，国际奥委会将本届奥运会的会
址选在柏林。1916年因德国发动第一次世界大战而使第6届奥运会落
空，本届选柏林为奥运城又正值德国法西斯上台之际。1933年，以阿
道夫·希特勒为首的纳粹党夺取了政权。纳粹本来是十分仇视和反对
奥运会的，他们认为奥运会是犹太人同和平主义者搞的花样，他们还
认为德国运动员与黑人一起比赛有损日耳曼民族的尊严。但纳粹分子
