disguise,larger range of ball placement than swing volley. but modern light
racket makes swing volley a popular alternative but i feel it is icing on
the cake.

也可以不叫swing volley，叫成approach shot close to net/top spin approach net

Swing volley当然有用拉，当然女子喜欢打月亮球用的多些，但是欧见过ff用过 |

正手只有在approach过程中来不及换grip才会swing volley。
不如练half volley，或者半场killer forehand更有实战价值。 |

Looks like I have to work on my high volley. Right now it has no pop, and
has no depth either. I saw some old guys with poor volleying techniques
resort to a swinging volley with their powerful rackets. Perhaps that's the
wrong way to go for me...

，swing volley的效果不好，因为过网高度太高了，很容易被网前截到。单打倒是有可
能会有后场swing volley的机会 |
