有很多人（包括美国华人，美国其它族裔甚至中国国内的朋友），认为已经道歉了，没
必要再揪住不放，作whining babies，让人觉得无理取闹了。
然而事情不是这样的。LA游行JK道歉的录像我看了，明显JK在绕着圈子说，而抗议者只
是说要向13亿中国人道歉，道歉没诚意什么的，都没说到点子上，真让人着急。
接下来的斗争策略非常关键，不然反而起坏作用。 我不断的重复 --- 明天游行，策略
和斗争的重点一定一定要有针对性而正确有效。 一
定要针对他们的道歉做文章，清楚陈述为什么其实他们的道歉反而更糟糕，我们需要他
们怎样来弥补他们的过错。 让大众看到我们不是抱怨，我们是对美国社会负责的群体
。这样才能得到所有人的共鸣和支持。
下面有一些简单的文字，I URGE YOU TO READ THROUGH AND USE AT LEAST SOME OF
THEM WHEN PROTESTING. 我们必须有logic, rationale and valid reasoning.
What bothers us even more than the show itself is the irrelevant and
ineffective apologies by ABC and JK. In the apologies, they neither
acknowledged the misconduct of the inappropriate racism joke nor addressed
the violence promoting issue. They only said it was a bad joke and "sorry if
you didn't think it was a joke and upset you". It does not sound like JK or
ABC has realized or cared about the profound impact and disastrous
consequences this show created. When the mainstream media does not care
about its responsibility for a healthy society, it generates serious worries.
Now our minds are heavily burdened with the thoughts, fears and worries
about our future and our children’s future in this country. Promoting
violence and promoting hatred is just NOT something we do on TV or anywhere
else. Period.
If ABC does not take actions, we will. We demand a sincere apology from ABC
/Disney specifically addressing the racism and violence promoting issues.
They need to acknowledge the mistake they made. The general public needs to
know that episode of the show was NOT okay in anyway. We also demand that
ABC/Disney come up with a program to effectively create positive influence
touching on these two issues. " | h******t

我们现在要做的是什么？如果我们只是说better apologies! more apologies! 甚至解
雇JK,会让大众对我们产生坏印象，从而不站在我们一边。 我们一定要得到大众更广泛
的认同和支持， 我们的明确目的是让ABC和JK向大众承认：我们的这样的节目是无耻的
，因为我们对社会带来的不良影响和严重后果。我们已经认识到了对不起中国人，对不
起所有美国少数族裔，对不起全美国宪法，对不起美国精神，对不起全美国人们。我们

If Mr. Kimmel doesn't know how to apologize, here is a speech for him,
written by a friend (a white guy) on fb.
An apology would be: "On a recent episode of our show we did something very
wrong and very reprehensible. We made a joke out of killing Chinese people.
We made it sound like genocide was in some cases cool and funny. That was
completely unacceptable! It is anathema to everything the USA stands for:
which is that “all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their
Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty
and the pursuit of Happiness.” I deeply apologize for what I did and what I
said. In recognition of the seriousness of this infraction we will not
broadcast our show for a week, I will pay a hefty fine (to fund anti-racism
teaching) and we are forever cancelling out ‘Kids Table’ segment (which
also needlessly exploited these children who are now all infamous because of
this which will impact their futures negatively) All of this was my fault.
I take full responsibility and will never ever make a racially insensitive
comment ever again. I also apologize for my previous apology (above) where I
said ‘maybe you didn’t understand because of cultural reasons.’ Everyone
of every culture knows what the show implied and all people of conscience of
all cultures have now set me straight. Thank You for reading this.” | h******t

He needs to apologize for manipulating the kids with loaded questions,
subtly scapegoating China for US debt problem when China holds <1/20 US
government obligations. His clip also showed the classic case of Race-
scapegoating leading to Hate Speech leading to Hate Crime. Exactly the way
Nazis manipulated German public opinion to start the Holocaust.
And to think genocide suggestion is acceptable to air even funny, and
apologize as if we are humorless who can't get his sophisticated satire,
that is further transgression. Disney and ABC needs to take responsibility
for creating an environment of total disregard to human life and dignity,
for cheap laughs.
Disney will be boycotted, sued and bankrupted if they don't get the core

发帖数: 268 | 5 We should use a slogan like "No Fake Apology"!! Althoug ABC and Kimmel have
already
apoligized, we need sincere apology from them. The letter written by OCA
listed very detailed requirements for a sincere apology. I think we could
use similar words in a written petition and submit it to ABC or whoever
responsible for the skit show. Or we may use it in the 宣传单张if our
protesters are not going to face any ABC of JK people.
