do you prefer Middle Pair (JJ-55) or Two Over Cards at all-in?
I personally am impressed that two-over-cards has 70% to win at FTP (
especially
with ace). What is your impression and experience. | W********m 发帖数: 7793 | 2 your impression is wrong. on-line poker is not rigged....
P.S. My impression is that the hand that I hold always loses 80% of the time
... en... regardless of what I have or what others have; especially when I go preflop all in vs toparis or fryking2, then I lose 100%... | f*****g 发帖数: 15860 | 3 you push first or somebody pushes?
i like over cards better, and over cards are different, say, i like KQs/QJs
better than AJo/KJo.
well, even position is not in question, stack should be.

| s*********k 发帖数: 1989 | 4 I very believe at FTP two over cards win over middle pair majority of times
regardless of position/stack (at 9-handed table, I say 70%). At final table,
3/4 left, it goes to around 50%.
At HM, how to do SQL to extract all the hands (anyone worked with the underlying database)?
But very opposite is at PS, middle pair has 50% chance to win over two over
cards (9-handed, regardless of position/stack. Just two players go to allin, whether I am one of them or not).

you're not objective because you got $/emotion involved, and your sample is
too small.
never let such thoughts affect your play, you can find same amount of posts/
people who tell you the other way (FTP is not as rigged as PS).

| f*****g 发帖数: 15860 | 11 actually another reason i like over cards are their drawing potentials.
hands like 55-99 are made hands for sure, but rarely ahead much if shoving
or calling a shove (assuming stacks are not too short).
for example, 88 vs. TQs, yeah, you're leading in the race preflop, but only
by a small margin. if TQs hit flop (1/3 chance), then you'll be almost
drawing dead. if they miss, still, they got 6 outs to a pair (24%, not
really that bad), and more interestingly, to str8 or flush with the help

I am talking about preflop all-in. I do want to get the underlying
data to see.
one possiblity is that card are folded (say one 5 is folded, the damage for
player with 55 is larger). That is what I asked before whether there is an
odds calculator to tackle this.
Another one is that FTP flops high cards too way often.
One simple way is just summarize the frequency of each on all the flops(no
turn/river necessary).
Need to find a way to work with DB. | f*****g 发帖数: 15860 | 13 well, you can do google research. i remember seeing some ppl scanned
millions of hands from sites like FTP, PS, AB, etc, and none of them seems
like the way you mentioned (FTP flops high cards too way often). this is how
they caught a few cheaters on AB and UB too, since their winning rates were
way off.
PS recently provided about 20M hands to a cornell grad student for his
reseach, and FTP did something like this too (mentioned in the book "poker
winners are different"), they have nothing to hi
