发帖数: 15860 | 11 no, 10% always comes with a cap, like in AC/LV, it's 10% (max at $4), or
other casinos charge session fees, like $5/half hour/each player.
whatever method they use, it's most likely < $100/hr/table (especially $4
cap one), given the table would be full all the time.
they have to pay $5-8/hr to dealers, and overheads like floor manager,
cocktail waitress, security guard, cleaning, etc. this could easily add up
to like $50+/hr or so.
plus, equipment (table, shuffler machine, etc.) costs and repairs,
electricity, advertisement, ...
poker is really nothing for casino owners, only a way to get more gamblers
in the door, and lose another $2K at blackjack/craps/roulette in 30 minutes
after getting tilt from poker, or for wives who got nothing else to do while
waiting.
