i asked about his recent tournaments, he played one in Macau and one drop,
he was explaining to me this 1-3-5-7-x staking deal which to be honest i
still don't understand. basically it's like a group of ppl playing in a
series of tournaments, one gets 1% of you, in exchange, you get 3% of him,
and so on.
then he mentioned his college roommate, sounds like another pro but doesn't
ring a bell in my head right away. i asked him about jungleman, who is in
Europe still playing online now.
that's all, took a pic and didn't want to hold the nice dude (no different
than an avg. college/grad student) for long from his game, lol.

he and me? oh, priceless and cannot share.
after shaking hands with him, my confidence in poker skyrocketed. the next
hand, i called down a reg LAG's 3 barrels:
preflop, a nit bets $12 from MP, loose table, 2 callers, i call with J9o on
BTN, LAG calls from BB.
flop: JT4 rainbow, LAG donk bets $20, weak nit snap folds (he's afraid of
any confrontations, weak tight), a new guy calls, i call.
turn: 2 still rainbow, LAG bets $45, new guy folds, i snap call.
river: T, LAG quickly bets $85, i double check the board, of course, how can
i lay down my monster here?!
he shows Ad6d trash.
the way he plays all the way doesn't make a bit sense to me at all for
anything that could beat me.
