For the most part, I’d bet willing to bet that many people feel beauty
pageant contestants are complete airheads.
Who are kidding? We all think it.
Since the women who compete are stunningly beautiful, we tend to overlook
the fact that many of them are actually very intelligent. Though, I’m sure
many of the participants have skated by in life entirely on their looks, but
of course, looks can be deceiving.
When Miss Texas, Ylianna Guerra – a contestant in this Sunday’s Miss USA
pageant – was asked “if she believed the government should impose “
boundaries” for the salaries of CEOs because they make “around 300 times”
as much as the average salaried employee,” she said no.
Good for her. She gets it.

“If you work hard enough, you can attain anything,” she said. “This
is the land of opportunity and CEOs — I believe they work hard enough for
their money, so I believe they should be able to attain whatever it is they
’re working for.”
TheBlaze reports that while Guerra got a lot of positive response online
for the statement, she was also mocked for a gaff. To a question about if a
woman should replace Andrew Jackson on the $10 bill, Guerra said
incorrectly that the other bills contained images of presidents, giving her
critics an excuse to rip her.

As for CEOs and their high paying gigs, well, they’ve made it to that
position for a reason. They’ve earned whatever compensation they bring home.
In America, you can demand as much cash as you’d please, because nobody is
forcing you to accept a job if you don’t agree with the salary. | a*******1
