我最不能忍受的是天气太干了。绿树也相对很少，大沙漠一个。 其次是这里的摩门文
化，还是很排外的。

。但是北边的房子离市中心近邻居更liberal些， 南边的房子邻居就很有可能都是摩门
。 看你个人喜好了。

facilities, because the east side decided to vote(kick) them out. Now they
could not support themselves because of the large kid's population and low
tax base.

It's a good area with good schools. But it's not really a suburban living
and you may need to pay HOA fees.

the right way, lots of the 90's houses i saw, the stucco start to peel off,
(since it has been almost 20 years, problem starts to occur), also it is the
time to change the roof too if it has not been changed, same as furnace.

than my current house. The school district is Jordan so they share the same
schools with South Jordan, which may be dragged down by the rest of the
west valley as you said. There are two kitchens in the house, but neither of
them look nice.
There are definitely some new houses available but not many options are out
there.

The school district is the new east side Canyon School Dist. (including all
Sandy) not the old Jordan. I know for sure! Living there, you go to
Granite elementary, optional to Albion middle and Brighton high schools.
You can spend <$5k to change the counter top to granite, app. $2k to get all
stainless steel appliances. It's all part of the negociations.

The listing angent may not care about the detail or even live in the area,
but I know it for fact.

你要买skyline边上的房子, 我查了下,以我的基本要求,80年后50万以下只有一个房子,
大多数房子都是50-60年旧的. 你愿意为了子女的教育去住这么老的房子么. 而且价格
也不便宜,只要是remodel过的,随便都得上50万.就算remodel过, 房子的基本结构还是
很难改,厕所很小,房间很小, closet更小.
我现在住的其实就这么老的房子,苦头吃尽了,我是打定主意换新房子了,虽然我现在住
的区真的很好. 小学和初中都是走路距离, cottonwood high也很近.

host the advanced learning program (the name?! heck) - like West H.
In three years, you can get a BA degree and a HS diploma. A lota courses are
college recognized and transferable(USU, UU etc.) - true to other HS too.
So comparable houses surrounding Hillcrest are, in gerneral, lower priced.

actually has higher house values in SLC.
I have to wait since nobody will buy my house at this condition, at least I
need to fix something before putting it to the market.

不过5-10%down payment，现在这种形势很难说能贷到款吧
至少我这种换房的肯定要20%以上了

amount, down payment, closing cost, tax, insurance, credit scores...) then
only you would know exactly what price of houses you can look into.

完全变样了
要说真正的都市生活
估计在美国只有纽约，芝加哥 一类的城市才有
西部基本上没有地方有都市生活
