发帖数: 41 | 1 紧急求助各位达人。本人F1 OPT 还有20天到期，急需去加拿大美国领馆转H1B签证，本
来准备先在纽约加拿大领馆 walk in 申请加拿大签证，在版上考古发现最近check的概
率很高，2-30天不等，而且有的当天只收材料，并不告知是否被check,之后几天才发信
通知被check,有的从头到尾没有任何通知。本人OPT 还有20天就要过期，担心如果加拿
大签证被check，拿不回护照，连中国也不能回，在美国的身份就黑了。请教版上达人
，如果被check有什么办法拿回护照吗？万分感谢！！！ |

我下周准备去领护照，不管有没有处理完。圣诞过完要签证也没用了。

发帖数: 41 | 6 多谢大家的回复。我的H1b是 cable notification，必须出国激活，当时选择这个主要
是因为想用完 STEM 的17个月延期，但是万恶米帝的 SEVIS 系统把我的 status 搞错
了，认为我 oct 1 就已经是 H1b了，虽然这个错误在两个多月都就发现，通过公司的
律师和学校的IO与其交涉，但是一拖再拖，毫无结果。无奈之下不得不选择签证。
加拿大的风险太大，如果被 check，恐怕来不及回国，所以我现在直接就申请国内的签
证了，已经约好签证，买好机票（机票巨贵，但是无所谓了），请两周假回国签证。 |
