间，后来听说好像Maryland school Cutoff date是9/1， 在Virginia，school Cutoff
date 好像是9/30。 小孩生日时9/15，不想让小孩等到下一年上学。很久以前听说上
私校可以避免cutoff date的问题。不清楚私校是否没有cutoff date，如果有是什么时
候。大家出出主意，应该在那里买房呢？ | m*******r

以上当年的preK的，不用等下一年。
私校好象也要参加学前考试，只要能通过，就可以上。 | h******n

发帖数: 8950 | 4 如果要好学区又要交通方便，估计也就是MONTGOMERY或HOWARD COUNTY。
其实，我觉得与其找中间点，不如找离其中一个近的买房。这样，至少有一个人可以回
家方便些。当然，如果夫妇两的工作距离超过了2小时车程，另当别论。

People are moving out of Maryland as the taxes.
You will pay more taxes, income tax, property tax, utility taxes, shopping
bag tax, the taxes you can think.
The only thing I know you pay more in VA is the car tax. If you like to have
a 兰博基尼 or 法拉利,like Beijing MM, you will pay much more by living in
VA.
If having a choice, most people will live in VA.
If you are under proverty line, live in MD.

MARYLAND靠DC和BALTIMORE的好学区，可都不便宜。你这“稍稍便宜点”是和哪里比？

in VA. You will pay more than $250/m of more tax for 2 incomes by living in
MD, which is equivalent to pay the interest of $60,000 mortgage for 30 years
. After some years, you can pay down the $60,000 mortgage, but you can never stop to pay the $250 income tax, which could be higher in future.

发帖数: 3528 | 12 应该不算难, 如果你觉得你孩子上学后没有问题, 就应该能过. 不过你要查一下你要买
房的具体学校, 有些学校因为在校孩子已经太多, 并不接受EARLY ENTRY EXAM的规定.
