"I use the term, "you bet" all the time as an alternative to "you're welcome
!"
"You bet" implies you can count (bet) on me to come through! In other words
, I'm a sure bet to be of assistance!
So, when I assist someone and they say "thanks", I reply "you can bet on me
to help!" or "You bet!" |
