Despite all of the excellent websites offering free recipes, if you've
watched the Cook's Illustrated television shows on PBS (America's Test
Kitchen and Cook's Country), you know that this is among the few physical
cookbooks worth buying. They do a lot of research on recipes and products,
and offer clear, easy to follow instruction and recipes. Their website is
great too.
The Kindle version is currently $18...
ETA: the price on the Kindle version has been lowered to $9 but probably won

ETA: See QS for Other Cook's Illustrated Kindle cookbooks under $10. Special
