buy (vs. ride your bike) argument, but this looks like a very good offer.
To make a long story short, legendleasing:

(I can't vouch for them, but users at Edmunds seem to like them) is
offering a 2012 Nissan Maxima for $279/mo. w/ "zero down". There's actually
a $600 bank fee, so call it a "$600 down lease".
What makes it even better is Edmunds is running a promotion (or Nissan is)
where you can get a bonus $2k visa card if you buy or lease a 2011 or 2012
Maxima after clicking through and signing up for an offer. I can't link it
directly (it's a banner on their site that's randomly generated), but if
poke around their site a bit it should pop up eventually. In the terms and
conditions of the offer, it specifically says that you don't need to tell
the dealer anything- this is independent of other offers (unlike the "$2k
cashback or 0%" type stuff that dealers build into the price). This is
essentially a "stackable" car coupon.
Anyway, to sum up, if you sign up for the offer w/ Edmunds and then either
lease through Legend Leasing (or negotiate your own lease based on their
numbers), you should essentially get about $1400 cash back on a $280/mo. 39
month lease on a Maxima, w/ 12k miles.
