pain reliever Acurox. Chief Financial Officer Peter Clemens said the shares
may be gaining ahead of that meeting, scheduled for Thursday. The FDA isn't
required to follow the recommendations of its advisory panels, but it
generally does.
Cadence Pharmaceuticals Inc. (CADX, $10.45, +$1.26, +13.71%) plans to file a
new application with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration within the next
month for its intravenous acetaminophen pain reliever.
