？是不是research做得好的话，teaching可以放在次要的位置，或者要求不教课？已有
的经验也只是打酱油的次要课，别的老师不愿教。或者对口语的要求稍微低点？有没有
在committee里的发考题给指点一下。
另外一个考虑也是口语能力。美国朋友评价我的口语是:good, but need slow down.问
题是一慢，就跟不上思路了。 |

don't have a grant or two and yet teacher of the years for many years. You
still won't get contract renewed when up for tenure or promotion.
Personally, I think you are confused. However, this does not mean you don't
have to worry about teaching. Personally, the biggest bull I know can do
both, he wins teaching award through out his career even recently, an NAS
member, and have two R01 grants >30 years.
