is seeking U.S. patent attorneys, agents or technical specialists to work
on its growing U.S. patent portfolio.
Positions opening: In-House Patent Counsel, Patent Agent and Patent
Specialist
Employer: a leading Chinese Internet company Location: China (major cities)/
California (working location is negotiable)
Requirements:
1) Requirements for Patent Counsel:
A solid technical background, CS/EE/Physics background is preferred but not
required. ABA accredited law school graduates. Admissions to a state bar and
USPTO. Professional working proficiency level Chinese and English. Minimum
1 year patent prosecution experience. Experience in reexams, due diligence,
licensing and litigation is preferred but not required.
2) Requirements for Patent Agent and Technology Specialist: A solid
technical background, CS/EE/Physics background is preferred but not required
. Professional working proficiency level Chinese and English. Minimum 2
years experience. Admission to USPTO.
Responsibilities:
- Patent prosecution: review patent application drafts and office action
responses prepared by outside counsels, develop prosecution strategy,
participate in invention disclosure review meeting.
- Provide support in invalidity proceedings, patent review/analysis, and
other matters.
Compensation and benefits:
