What "inconvenience"? Why spend longer time at NFLX to work for that
money if you can just easily go to an IPO firm instantly collecting a
million? I mean after all according to you even if the firm fails they
give out "great layoff package" so there's nothing to lose. LOL.

And I don't mind it going down a bit since option is granted monthly.
Enjoyed a bit of selling at $410 too.
But I can imagine someone's sour grape coming from M$ which couldn't even
beat Nasdaq for god's
sake.
You can collect a million from TWTR over 4 years, that's how startups works,
quick or not depending on your patience. Certainly quicker than M$FT though
.
When was the last time you heard an TWTR employee jumped to M$FT? And how
many examples you've heard on the opposite? Sour grape can only take you so
far. You are a loser stuck behind with useless skills, admit it.

You need to take the high living expense in CA into the equation. They
have to pay probably 20% more than WA companies to make it equal. If
you can collect CA salary but work remotely from a cheaper state then
you get a deal.

个小startup待两年，混个Director,回国立刻vp，过两年回flg做director，直接一两
百万一年。这就算干一年公司就垮了，你已经一百万到手，又攒了管理经验，管他呢。
程序员的青春就那么几年，又何必去管公司赚不赚钱。咱都是小不点，离了我地球照样
转的。

company. I did my share of it. I was just telling those fresh grad
looking for their first job to work on GCs not to get sucked in by
these risky IPOs.
