internship in either IM/Surg/Transitional" and "PGY-2,3,4 in anesthesia"
available, and in interview day I probably will meet with faculties from
both anesthesia and the preliminary year specialty (IM/Surg/Transitional).
Advanced means the program only have "PGY-2,3,4 in anesthesia" available,
and I have to find a "PGY-1, first year internship in either IM/Surg/
Transitional" myself, anywhere in USA.

But our kid had no idea she was getting a shot since she was distracted.
Going to a pediatric dentist is definitely good for small children, I would
recommend you switching if your current dentist is not.

through extra years of school and put your spouse and children through some

significant lower performance in school than those who never had anesthesia
. There's no statistical difference for kids with just one anesthesia,

treatment can be done one time, especially for child who have dental
problems in many teeth. It is safe in hospital. The dentist should request

well, but I was not pregnant at that time.
1. If you have to do it, do it during second trimester. You will need to lie
on your back, not safe for third trimester. There have been pregnant women
who did root canal before.

trauma, and only local anesthesia is used. US dentists (for extracting wisdom
teeth, usually specialist) usually extract all teeth at once, using general
anesthesia. Either way works, since her/his sister is the dentist in China, it
is probably pretty flexible for how many teeth to extract at one time. But one
thing is for sure, they won't use general anesthesia, that means the patient
will get several pokes.

2. as to the studies you mentioned, there are two things: 1) only repeated
anesthesia is linked to increased risk 2) they are based on patients done
something ~30 years ago. the drugs used are different now, as well as

studies can be translated into today's situation. |

going to happen. I consulted with professional anesthesiologist in terms of
anesthesia and was told that the risk of having a general anesthesia is
fairly lower for children than adults since children are healthy. Also there
are many different level of general anesthesia. The anesthesiologist can

anesthetist in the nation will see their malpractice insurance premium goes
up, and bills for anesthesia go up eventually.
Without knowing the detail, i guess the defense has some serious screw up in
paper work. seems like they don't have the pre-op evaluation paper. Even
if just a short note indicating that you have see the patient, discussed

替我太太发的帖。
她去年末开始被干眼症困扰，传统疗法不见效。听说外州有眼医不错但收费昂贵，为了
及早治好病，我们决定砸锅卖铁也要去看。于是今年四月前去就医。
医生扫描了眼表，给她看了video说有conjuctivochalasis（结膜松弛，眼睑上部
superior），并在右眼做了羊膜移植手术（Amniotic Membrane Transplant）。术后立
即发现剧痛，眼球一转就感到刀割一样的sharp pain。医生说手术不彻底，需二次手术
修复。
家人觉得蹊跷，经人介绍在本地几个知名医学院陆续看了4位眼科教授，结论都很一致
：只是单纯干眼症。没有结膜松弛，这是老年病，她才二十多岁，不可能得此病；且诊
断的部位(眼睑上部superior)也非传统的发病部位(眼睑下部inferior)。术后并发症是
常见的瘢痕Scar，牵扯眼表导致疼痛，且羊膜移植的graft比眼表自体组织低，导致眼
表高低不平，加重干眼症。Scar是permenant的，但不推荐二次修复，因为手术越多，
导致的scar越多。医生应该术前告知。

病人醒过来的话有意识但不能动，这叫ANESTHESIA AWARENESS,属于事故(有个
电影叫AWAKE,就是讲这个的).所以这种情况会让病人继续SEDATED直到Neuromuscular
blocking agents代谢干净.所以是正常的.

全身麻醉(general anesthesia)就是要呼吸停止,不可能不用呼吸机,这叫什么麻醉反应

個更可怕的名號，叫作「魔鬼的呼吸」，一旦服用後，幾分鐘之內就會喪失心智，猶如
人偶般任人擺佈，而且醒來以後完全不記得發生甚麼事。
「魔鬼的呼吸」取自南美洲的曼陀羅，這種植物在哥倫比亞十分常見，在西班牙語裡稱
為borrachero，也就是「令人沉醉的樹」。由於「魔鬼的呼吸」無色無味，且有強烈的
致幻效果，歹徒通常是將它噴在目標臉上，或是加進飲料裡供受害者飲用。
在「魔鬼的呼吸」控制下，有些受害者遭到強姦、有些則從銀行帳戶裡提光所有錢交給
歹徒，甚至還有人捐出自己的器官。一名女姓受害者稱，她在路上被人問路，在途中喝

1. 看牙保险给报销么?
参见具体policy。健康保险如无明文提到exception，一般可以认为不报。看病之前，自学一下保险手册的关键条款（有生命危险或疼得天昏地暗者除外）。
2. 看牙咋省钱？
有保险的考虑适当拖延。到下一年可以用新报销额度。
自费买dental insurance：一般premium几百/年，一年最多报销两千，外加
waiting period，所以不一定合算。临时报佛脚的情况就不要考虑了。
dental discount plan：在参加计划的诊所可以立刻打折。比如Aetna Advantage Dental。
收入确实低的，在本地找免费或low cost诊所。这些地方可能有eligibility要求，很多只提供有限服务。
去附近的dental school clinic，给学生做小白鼠。
自己跟牙医去讨价：前提是在看病以前讨，不要狮子大开口。
