发帖数: 538 | 24 做 fellow 的时候可以在本院独立值班挣点小钱。有一天一个36周左右的病人围产期心
衰入院了。入院后诊断成立。开始治疗。一顿利尿，症状基本没了。Division最二百五
的attending consult后拟定计划37 周引产。我当时知道有这么个病人，白天还和
attending一起看过。心里就有点疑问。为啥非等到37周。现在状态好，生了不就得了
。就祷告了一下千万别在我值班的时候生。
病人高龄，多年前生过一个。方案就是早上epidural，深麻，减少疼痛刺激。不让病人
push，等到孩子降下来产钳或vacuum助产。总之了，就是尽量不增加心脏负荷。结果
引来引去，到我值班那晚上要生了。这一看就明白了，祷告真起作用啊！交班的时候
division头问，forceps有信心没。当时的回答是应该没问题。
具体过程有点忘了，就是不停的想别出事别出事。。。。。结果孩子心跳开始下降，赶
紧去看血压有点低，宫口开全了，头还挺高，就请麻醉师帮忙升下血压。麻醉是很深的
。效果极佳。没过几分钟，chief又打电话说不行了，心跳不停有问题。拉到手术室做

且往往属于不同的部门(analog, digital, ip, ESD)，有自己的manager。
其实从个人收入上讲，tech chief不比director少，而且也直接report给BU的VP。但是
国人之所以更喜欢管理track，是因为权利上的差别。tech chief没有man power,更关
键的是不一定有自己的cost center（financial power).有些有，有些没有。
你想去hawaii开个会，director或者sr manager自己有buget直接就去了. tech chief
还得和VP要批准。人事权也是，tech chief想要你，还得有hiring manager有opening才
行。
其实做到tech chief可不容易，top semi公司里也不是很多（我们这没有director数目
多）。一般工程师做到principle也就到头了。一些大公司的制度是，tech track从

于是我就挑了10个杂志给Editor in chief发了信。本来以为大部分人都不会理我，没
想到基本都给我回复了，而且说的还挺客气，大概都是些：
Thank you for offering to review. When we have suitable manuscripts we
will consider you as a reviewer.
We can certainly add your name to our reviewer database.
但仔细研究了下，发现一个问题。貌似有几个Editor in chief都是直接把信转给了
Managing Editor，然后让他们给我回的信,不像大家说的Editor in chief会直接把信
再发给相关领域的Editor。Managing Editor一般都不怎么懂专业，他光把我名字加到
database里，感觉也没什么用啊,将来Editor挑reviewer的时候很难大海捞针的把我的名
字给挑出来吧……
