如果有理有据，而且另外的reviewers都没有什么实质性的否定，完全可以要求editor
让这个reviewer重新考虑或者要求editor重新挑reviewers。做法是在给editor写回信
时以附件的形式详细解释你的道理。我有过这样的经历，在我这个项目的方向上排前2
的杂志，一审悲剧，但是因为拒稿的主要原因是其中一个Reviewer对我的方法提出质疑
。在给editor的回信中，我用实际数据和仿真都验证方法的可行性。结果被拖了一段时
间，等了比一般审稿的周期要长一倍的时间都没有得到回复。我两次写邮件询问这件事
才得到最后的结果－－文章被接受。当然这可能也与领域有关。有些工作可以有客观评
价方法，比较好说服editor和reviewers。

Biomedicine高影响力的杂志的编辑都是全职的，我看了他们的背景，大多是读了博士
／博士后（名校烂校都有），拼不上faculty, 想过舒服日子的。我的大牛合作人也认
同这一点，还补充说nature系列的很多editor都很年轻。相比之下，新的杂志的
editors更像是搞startup的。
我想不通的是，在biomedicine science的圈子里，博士生，薄后，faculty, 公司搞研
发的scientists, 个个都有这样或那样的压力，唯独top journal的editors能过清闲日
子，每天的工作就是牛逼哄哄的拒人？连我认识的大牛PI们都要经常不断的讨好他们？
这个可能么？editors的食物链上端是什么？他们工作上的挑战是什么？他们有没有发
愁的事情？他们工资是低还是高？他们工作时间长，工作量大（至少据信里都是这么说
的，哈哈）？ |

诉我们这篇文章最终接收了没有，还是要继续revise之类的。据信一般都短，叫人
revise的会比较长，基本要总结一下各个reviewer的意见，告诉作者要有哪些重要的东
西要改的。
这次有意思了，这封发给reviewer的信，说“As a gesture of our gratitude to
your review for us, thought you might like to find out a little more about
our final decision regarding this paper.” 原来editor决定拒掉这paper，但是又
提到他们很快有个special issue on this topic，所以跟作者说他们可以修改了之后
投这个special issue.
我一看我也做这个，就回复了editor，说我也感兴趣投这个special issue的 -- 原话

editor的话是套话。
总的来讲是positive news. 如果你能把除了改model的那一条都改了的话，希望很大，
建议走2.
回复意见里写清楚一点为什么没有按照referee 说的改。态度要好一点，赞赏referee
的意见，然后说自己为什么不能那样做。
你把自己设身处地带入第二个referee的角度想想就全明白了，没什么好纠结的。
假设你是他/她：等你收到修改稿，第一反应是什么呢？是你的建议被驳回了。说明什
么？Editor不认同你的看法。既然Editor这么干，说明Editor喜欢这文章。既然
Editor喜欢这文章，你除非是特别senior，也没什么必要继续跟这文章对着干。

没有主见。审稿本身就应该尽量寻求几个独立的建议，几个审稿人互相影响是违背学术
审稿的初衷的。editor把稿子发给你一定不是希望你无缘无故改变判断的。
有时候出现你这种情况是因为审稿人只熟悉文章的一部分贡献(XXX)而不熟悉另一部分(
YYY)。这种时候，你可以这样说：
My assessment and the recommendation are based solely on my expertise in XXX
. Due to my limited experience in YYY, I cannot comment meaningfully from
that perspective. The editor may benefit from consulting experts in the
field of YYY.

需要找人处理审稿，审稿完了后editor需要总结审稿结果，确定是接收，修改还是拒了
，然后发给稿件作者；也有的editor其实就是referee,帮着审稿；等等。一般期刊要求
editor每年要投几篇文章到这个期刊里面。具体工作，要看各个期刊了。估计这个特刊

Petition letter领导已经签过字了，签字的领导跟我们不在同一个城市，寄来寄去再

发帖数: 901 | 27 一般不会，当然看杂志。总体来说editor在选reviewer的权力还是比较大的。
resubmit的话，好好大改，附一封信，把原来的审稿意见，和revision都标出来，越详
细越好。注意千万不要惹据稿的家伙。多数情况下，editor会发给那个说据稿的
reviewer审。最多再找一个充数。
那个reviewer如果看到这个要据的稿子又回来了，一般会隐隐觉得editor没准觉得有价
值，所以可能下手轻点。
这时候，如果据稿的家伙a)不是太tough，b) 觉得有台阶下了，c)你的文章本来就不烂
，你的希望就很大了。当然如果editor觉得你的东西it不感兴趣，那么赶快另投吧。

请，做他们一个新杂志的editor。 此杂志topic非常specific。 我几年前做过一点相
关工作，发了两三篇二作文章，算不上是我的专长。我从来没做过editor， 不知道工
作量怎么样。听说做editor对评tenure有帮助，但这个非自己专长的新杂志，感觉自己

他两个reviewer的问题都回答了，现在回复positive。就这个要求我们改一些没有必要
且相当麻烦的工作。这样写下去40页要写到100页才够。editor只简单说让我们address
他的concern。没有说具体要做什么。
比较搞笑的是，editor在第一轮开始，还有这第二轮就把那个reviewer写给editor的信
也发给我们了，我们就知道这个reviewer是谁了。这样我们是继续装不知道，按正常程
序走，解释我们无法做到reviewer的建议，还是告诉editor我们已经知道是谁了
violate double blind 的原则了，让他rule out这个人？这样他会不会再找个
reviewer，还是就用其他两个reviewer的决定？ |

意见（accept）和其他reviewer的意见（reject）相左，最后editor采用了其他

现在同样的文章resubmit了，又送到了鄙人手里。因为是resubmit，然后又有上次被打
脸的教训，鄙人这次比较慎重。如果按第一次editor的意见，感觉文章应该还是悲剧，
因为没有实质性的改变。但我怕其他reviewer这回被response说服改投accept，那我投
reject就又要被打脸了。大家别笑话我，这两天为这篇文章是吃不下睡不香，头都要愁

services. We sometimes also provide project consultation services as needed
