30人左右，我是唯一的HR职员，title是HR Generalist，管全部人事以及和国内的一些
联络工作。工资差一点到lvl2，如果需要可以考虑和老板申请加工资。之前有2年多工
作经历。现在老板同意给办绿卡，我考了一下古，觉得办EB2是最佳选择，但是咨询了
版上2位口碑不错的律师（我自己找律师，公司不提供），都强烈不推荐EB2，认为移民
局会质疑这个岗位不需要master学位，perm会被audit。但是根据我的理解，EB3原则上
来说等待时间太长了，而且以后升级到EB2也要花好多功夫，所以想问问前辈们的经验
，我这样的case有没有机会上EB2？我能第一次申请尝试EB2，不行的话再上EB3么？或
者EB2 EB3一起办perm？ 如果不行话，EB3的perm下来了，能EB2 EB3一起办140么？

所以recruiter要把我refer到generalist recruiter，可能会加面，generalist
recruiter要review所有的材料，再做决定，现在还没确定。

，1个老板的老板的老板，1个hr的generalist， 每人45分钟.
generalist第一个见我，照着本子一个一个念behavioral questions，我回答的时候她
就拿笔在本子上记，全程无eye contact，我回答得很郁闷，感觉自己一个人在唱独角
戏，没有观众所以没有激情。（我是那种人来疯的人，越是有人交流，就越眉飞色舞。
）第一个见完，感觉只给自己勉强70分。
后面来了三个director,一个比一个有知识，聊得也开心，人都很nice,很详细地介绍公
司的business,products, markets, technologies, challenges,etc,感觉没把我当外
人，我做的功课也派上了用场，事先打印了很多我觉得谈话中可能会用到的材料，比如
一些表格，presentation,和小工具等。他们每人都带着我的cover letter 和resume来
，还有一个笔记本，和我谈的时候就在上面画示意图，（临走我都问他们要了那些示意

我的情况：我对做研究很有兴趣，但是年龄有点大了，所以想在第三年结束的时候找工
作，四年毕业在2-3流balanced商学院当教授，兼顾事业和家庭。因为家里有小孩，我
的弱势是没有别人那么多时间，每星期最多能高效率工作45-50个小时。我觉得我有发
顶级期刊的能力，但是可能没有相应的时间和精力上的投资。
想麻烦大家给点建议看看我看选哪个教授，A还是B。
教授A：full professor，白人，只看重文章质量，研究方向和我有关。思维严谨，对
科学研究的态度认真。指导学生属于放羊型风格，给学生文章回馈全面但是周期 长而
且非常critical （应该是比顶级期刊的一般reviewer还要critical）。去年我在他的
课上总体表现不是非常好，所以有点担心会影响将来他给我写的推荐信。他觉得我写文
章没深度。他对学生的期待是在top 3期刊上发表文章。
教授B： associate professor，印度人，发文章会同时兼顾考虑质和量的平衡，研究

发帖数: 23 | 49 上週四跟一間公司的 HR 電面之後隔天進公司跟 department manager 和 director 個
別面試。回到家後收到 HR 的來信，說兩位長官對我的 feedback 不錯，要我週一再去
見見他們的 HR Generalist。我當下趕緊回信說好，並告知他們我可以進公司的時間，
不過當時他們可能已經下班了，所以一直沒回應確認時間。等到週一再打電話過去，卻
說週一 schedule 排不上，會再幫我安排別天，但就沒下文了，感覺可能是改變主意不
想見我了吧。
我該再寫信跟她催催嗎？一直纏著 HR 會不會造成反效果？ |
