上周末，小区里的小孩也敲门推销一样的cookie，也是这价钱。我实在是讨厌吃这么甜
的东西，就和他说，我可以捐献五块钱给你们，但不想要你们的饼干。So he took my
$5.
第二天，又有个小朋友来敲门推销，我老公开了门。看小朋友那么辛苦，就定了一盒。
怎么最近有这么多要捐款的呢？这周公司还搞 bake for the cure for breast cancer
， 又花十块买了个 very sweet cookie。
加上每个月定期捐二十给 St. Jude children's research hospital for cancer，
这个月真是做了不少慈善。希望能帮到那些小孩子。当了妈后看到小孩子 suffer 就
难受。
我父母主要是为了攀比和虚荣。从来不想想孩子是否快乐。只是一味地攀比而且虚荣心
很强。这是我跟他们说得不愉快的原因。

发帖数: 1 | 26 啊，我终于登陆上来了，我真是看不懂mit的版面，我是孩子的妈妈，目前还在做各种
检查。前面有TX说的St jude，我们已经联系过了，我的一个朋友认识那里的医生，由
于各种原因，主要是为了保护孩子，不想让他受其他伤害，我已经不想去那里了。现在
我们也有其他医院的支援，我们会积极寻找各种途径治疗图图，图图是个很乖很懂事的
孩子，昨天为了做CT饿了一整天，没吃没喝的，都没有吵闹；今天做完手术，浑身乏力
也没有哭，后来一直在playroom玩的很开心。他一直很健康，身高体重一直都是90%以
上，出生的时候有差不多9磅。所以全家人没有想到会这样，包括我自己，我现在已经
接受现实了，虽然有时候也会哭，没办法，一时做不到那么坚强。我父母还没见过图图
，本来我们订好3月3号的机票回国，结果3月2号晚上发现胳膊的肿块，事情就演变成现
在这样。我爸妈也开始准备来看图图，他们还接受不了这个事实，毕竟年纪大了，经不
起打击。。。语无伦次说了很多，好像我是第一次在MIT发帖，大家多多包涵吧。

最好的治疗儿童白血病的地方，治愈率在90%以上，如果能被这里接受，这辈子基本不
要愁医疗费了。但是很难很难被接收，申请的人很多。试试吧。 |

我更同情儿童癌症患者和他们的父母, 我觉得那更痛苦, 更让人绝望. 我觉得让儿童患
癌症是人世间最残忍的事.
所以再呼吁一下, 给St Jude Children's Hospital捐款吧, 他们的研究和治疗会带给
全世界儿童癌症患者希望. |

他们说去年就有两个孩子免费从中国来美治疗，不过他们的白血病比较严重了，国内已
经没办法治疗了。 |
