可以看看安捷伦2012生物分析仪，收购了caliper搞得机器，用在科研领悟。国内大概
有7家左右在做，用于非临床领域。
临床的国内北京只有唯一一家，有投资人，原计划12年注册完毕上市，但是中间发生什
么了，可能夭折了。他们是从康莱尓大学引进的技术，做病毒的分子检测
目前结合的较好的是分子诊断。
免疫诊断对材料要求较高，表面改性，修饰，等离子轰击等手段处理的材料最后结果基
本可以与eia持平，ng级别检测，双抗夹心，hiv。
国内有一家检测部分原理不一样，激光uF，忽悠地方政府给投资进入孵化园，在浙江不
知道能坚持下去么。 |

发帖数: 75 | 18 国外大概有6家在做检测机器，卖。分为分子uF,免疫学uF，不过都不是太好。
出色的是阿拉巴马的那个分子诊断仪器，作者天天在国内路演。造价教贵。
另外一家从fda,ge公司回来的哥们用了一个非常小的装置达到了前面一例的效果，不过
用到了日本人的lamp技术，离uF有点远。其实我想说，可以整合的更小巧美观的实用的。
我当时拿着我们做的类似原型去忽悠人的时候，就知道这东西肯定大卖。
国内大概有7家在做，但是能放到市场中去的估计1家也难以正式卖。 |

Nature methods 上其实还提到了UCSD的 Kun Zhang lab做的用 microfluidics 实现的
单细胞分离和测序。好像是去年nature biotech的文章。感觉办法很直接很高效的，不
知道成本是否会高。 不过sunney Xie的办法肯定不是唯一的。

这两个实验室也是Broad里最看重的两个实验室。
Regev实验室人超级多，各种合作特别多，常驻的加上临时的各种人员有100+。她应该
是以色列过来的，有些口音。Regev实验室常年有以色列的访问学者、学生来交流合作
，也有很多美国或者其他地方的学者来短期或者长期交流。实验室专门有个Hotel区来
供这些人作为临时办公室。再加上Broad内部的和Boston地区的其它各种合作交流，
Regev实验室做很多项目，不少项目都用到当前前沿的技术和概念。Regev实验室还有几
个人专门负责数据分析和软件开发，比较有名的比如Trinity de novo assembly的作者
Brian Haas，所以他们有很牛的技术和数据分析能力。
目前知道的一些项目涉及single cell sequencing，single nucleus sequencing，结

要想排名高,招些做很fancy science的assistant prof
nano, bio, patterning/microfluidic, system biology,
fuel cell, biofuel, metabolic engineering等等,反正什么
热就招什么方向的的,funding自然多,也吸引本科生和研究生,
保证排名马上上去.可是这样做倒底有没有突出ChemE的特色和
长处,谁也不知道.
先说好啊,没有贬低上面那些方向的意思.关键是如果你是化工的人,
你就得拿出你看家的本领来从你不同于别人的角度来研究热点方向.
要不混然于其他众学科,就没法justify你这个单独学科存在的意义.
体外话,我一直以为
虽说90年代后 EE, CSE, MechE是工学院三大王牌军
但是 ChemE也不至于太差..
整了半天60-80年代在工学院绝对拉风的ChemE
现在成了拉大家后腿的差生了,faint.
就说新成员BioE吧,多少历史都来自ChemE啊.
ChemE老人给新人做嫁衣了... |
