我就说说Salim吧。这片子里我最喜欢的人物其实是Latika，然后就是Salim.
为了这部电影我都哭到胸痛。泪多半是为Salim流的。
Salim一直爱钱。开始用厕所赚钱，Jamal 千辛万苦的到的明星签名照他一转眼就给卖
掉了。他后来死在装满钱的澡盆里。也显示了他对钱的忠诚。
他很凶残，他随随便便打别的小朋友。为了防止marma今后对他不利，他一枪把人家打
死了。为了投靠marma的敌人，他强迫Latika成为黑社会老大的情人。
我之所以喜欢上他，是因为一不留心掉到了他的世界里面。从他的眼睛看到了这个世界
。看到了获得温饱的艰难，看到生命的脆弱，同时也看到了死亡的气息。然后他的心里
的那些fear悄悄地溜了一些到我的心里。
从他的眼里看出去，然后从他的心里去感觉，才知道当初把药水泼在坏人的脸上要多少
勇气。才知道要杀marma是多么不容易的事情。才知道把Jamal赶走是多么的不易。

首先，我为华人的政治觉醒而欢呼。美国的很多口号，都是不错的，比如机会均等（
Equal Opportunity)。但是实际上，远没有切实到升学，职场和政坛的实处。华人的机
会，可以从一句俚语中窥见一斑（Chinaman's Chance) 华人在美国，无论上班或者做
小生意，都是兢兢业业，与世无争，甚至于逆来顺受。上一次重大事件，华人参与了政
