你可以比较一下, 转MT值不值得. 先说明一下，我说的只是我们医院的情况，每个人遭
遇可能会不同，很多因素会导致这种差异，比如公立私立，医院大小，地区位置，单位
文化，及主管（medical director 和manager)个人作风等等。
先简单介绍一下我的情况，我巳在一个血液病理实验室工作了十二年。此前也做了多年
research, 什么PCR, 蛋白分离，小白鼠实验等等都干过。其间也发表了 一些二三流
文章，但工作压力大，前途眇望。所以当一个临床实验室主管问我愿意不愿意去那儿工
作时，我义无反顾地跳糟了。我们医院很大，现有2万多员工, 位于南部一个大城市。

而且，不滑
雪的人也可以上去看Mt Rainer的山景和用餐了。只是不知道票价如何。会不会象Space

阿诺拉了三十多个人上Mt Baldy，因为主要是阿诺，Kerwin和我带队，没有特意负重，
背包在30lb以内。advent pro要退，背的还是Z55。
队伍自然分成三队，需要两头跑，岔路口等人。。。一天下来运动量也不小。最后三十
人全部登顶，包括头一次出来爬山的妹妹。阿诺这小子炼成神功，轻松背了35Kg大包上
山，汗都没怎么出。
主要试了几个新东西
1. MT HDWR Canyon Shirt and Pants，透气防晒都不错
2. Nike Patella Band，下山时很有用，省膝盖
3. Cytomax Drink Mix，初步感觉运动时比Gatorade有效很多，登山时没感觉到疲劳；
恢复很快，下来两天腿没有以往的隐约酸痛感。成分里Potassium, Sodium ...
Calories含量比Gatorade高很多，还有Gatorade没有的Magnesium，Vitamin等等。
据说可以
* 快速提供能量，增加10%的energy output （不确定）
* 减少肌肉损伤，提供电解质
* 减轻20%疲劳感，推迟40%乳酸形成，减 |

新雪经过一周的低温和解冻，已经nicely consolidated。从Mt Baldy Village开始路
两边就有积雪，Ski Hut Trial Head的雪至少有三尺深，trail head register只露出
很短一截。
早晨雪冻的很硬，有些icy，到Ski Hut前顺手拉住了一个失控的backcountry skier。
。。大坡的雪很不错，跟爬台阶一样。总的来说hiker和skier一半一半的样子，停车场

膏，心里一时恍惚。登山和我的生活，到底有什么关系？
我绝少和生活中的熟人谈论爬 山，一来他们不相信我能走路，二来不明白为什么要做
这种劳命伤财的事，我自己也不明白为什么, 闭口不谈也罢。人为什么要登山？答案一
定是见仁见智的。比起爬山本身，我更感兴趣的，是每个人动机背后那些有意味的故事
。因为登山对于我即非爱好也非梦想，就算从此洗手不干也不会觉得有什么损失。有时

手档M3 Coupe跑1/4这么多次了，12.8的成绩算差的了，R&T跑过12.5
如果是DCT的，C/D的M3 Competition还跑出了12.4
而比较而言，MT这次测到的12.7却是新Mustang GT的最好成绩 |

他们所谓的“final drive”是把axle ratio乘上了变速器最高档传动比，而这个值一
般叫overall ratio，final drive除了MT都是单指驱动轴的主减速比，也就是axle
ratio的 |

周六早晨7点，我再次检查了一遍装备，就上路了。 我们先到达了指定集合地点，然后
大家carpool过去，照例还是我开车。早晨的天气看起来不错，尽管有云，还是能够见到
阳光。车沿着I-84一路向东，目标是Oregon境内的Hood River。早晨9点多的时候，我们
到了Hood River。在那里吃过早饭，我们穿过Columbia river， 沿着WA141一路向北，
向着Trout Lake的方向前进。 车翻过一座小山后，眼前霍然开朗， Mt. Adams巨大的山

en, 我所看到的三座不是 Mt. Mckinley. 是另外三座.我现在实验室,没带我的
日记.晚上给你写出名字来.最高的只有的 13,000 feet 多.
Mt. Mckinley 在 Denali National Park 里,我沿安卡拉奇开过去,是在公路的
西边. 查资料上写. Estimated time on trail is 3 weeks. 不知道是真是假.

Emmons Glacier是Mt. Rainier第二popular的路线。和最popular的DC路线比起来，高
差更大，尤其登顶距离长。DC要爬两个大碎石坡，坡度在35度左右，穿着冰爪爬比较郁
闷，有被落石砸到的危险；在第二个碎石坡之前和之后各要横切明显的冰崩区，两个地
方几乎每天下午都崩。相比之下Emmons Glacier对体力要求更高，但比DC安全，只有几
十米的的碎石坡，没看到明显的冰崩区。
三月份zd发起这次活动的时候，就提出了对队员要求要能够4.5小时负重上Camp Muir，
报名的时候也不太自信zd是不是肯带我。身在midwest，之后的四个月里一直跑坡和跟
着track club跑interval。看了一些登山训练的知识，最好的练习是负重爬山/爬楼梯
。如果没有条件，就要把跑步机调到15%跑坡每周1-2次。此外每 |
