一种情况是4/1以前或者4/1到名额用完那一天之间，公司帮你申请h1b,10/1生效，这之
间你不能去新公司工作
另一种情况是运气好，10/1以后名额还没用完，那公司帮你申请了h1b,一批准你就可以
开始上班了。但是这种情况现在估计不会出现了。
我有个朋友是第二种情况，10年的名额一直到11年1月才用完，他刚好在名额用完前两
天递交了申请pp并获得批准。 |

company, but payment is a little bit low.
I like easy life. I tried other companies, sometimes I feel the workloads
there are really high. I care payment, but not that much, good work/life
balance is another important reason I consider nonprofit organizations. I
can have time to take care of my family and do the things I like.

管理的.
1个是non-profit的,1个是非non-profit的,我干的活是给非non-profit的, 但是我听说
non profit的h1b比较好申请,不受名饿限制..
1.这个nonprofit的组织也是刚披下来的,是不是只要是nonprofit的组织,不管资历,不
管规模,一定能给员工办h1b呢?
2.我可以给这个非nonprofit工作,然后申请的时候以nonprofit这个组织来申请吗? 组
织的头头肯定对此做法没有异议,只要这个组织的人认可,律师这么做,可行吗?
3.因为这个组织比较小,还没有自己的律师,他们更是对此一窍不通,in my case,请问什
么时间去申请h1b比较好呢?
4.如果通过这个公司申请了h1b,工作了1年, 然后去了另外一个nonprofit的,是不是可以不用重新开始算3年,可以累计的呢?

不是。nonprofit组织h1b同样要受审查的，比如能够提供你的薪水，需要本科以上学历

h1b的雇主要提供证据，表示雇主对你的工作有监督，你的工作是为雇主所用的。如果
你给profit组织工作，让nonprofit给你申请H1B，我不知道这方面会不会有问题。你还
是问问律师吧。
看你申请nonprofit还是profit的H1B了。nonprofit随时可以。profit4.1申请，3月就

了（opt是附属于f1的，f1的身份在你第一个h1b开始生效那天自动结束）。你的情况如
果想用opt cap gap的话，需要你现在的学校在你的nonprofit h1b办下来以后、生效前
至少提前两周（越早越好；也许需要比4月1号提前两周，这个我不是很确定）提出
withdraw h1b申请并被uscis收到处理，之后去学校的国际学生部查你的sevis record
是否正确（确认是否这个nonprofit h1b已经withdraw——没有的话需要提出fix sevis
record的申请），同时4月1号前公司的h1b file上去并抽签抽中（如果需要抽签的话
）。这个过程有一定的风险，包括学校不及时withdraw h1b，以及公司的h1b没抽中等
，如果想这么做的话一定要去f1学校的国际学生部咨询确认一下。如果公司能愿意等你

上个马甲来说说我换工作跳槽的情况。本人情况是2 ms degreees in Econ+Stat，大概
齐4年相关工作经验。LD毕业找到工作，我也就准备开始在LD上班的地方投简历。本人
在医院上班，想先说说在医院里的相关统计工作。在医院上班好处坏处都很明显：
好处：
1，工作相对稳定，没有动不动就裁人这一说
2，福利和假期相对来说也比较好，一般刚进去的新人一年所有假算在一起差不多有28
，9天的样子
3，工作比较轻松，没有多大压力，4年当中加班次数屈指可数，迟到早退倒是数不胜数
，这点可能各个地方不一样，不要都学我。
4，大多数稍微大一点的医院都和当地的大学有AFFILIATION的关系，所以SPONSOR
NONPROFIT H-1B。注意这个NONPROFIT H-1B不是因为医院是非营利性机构，而是因为它
和附近的大学有AFFILIATION才行。
有好处就有坏处：
1，工资比较低
2，没有年底BONUS这一说，至少我那个医院没有
3，NONPROFIT H-1B在目前这个情况就是双刃剑，我现在拿得NONPROFIT H-1B,跳槽的话
就只能找S |

势在必行。这样可以享受免税待遇，而且财政上进出对捐款人
和IRS都有交代。NONPROFIT ORG可大可小，大到ＭＩＴ，福特
基金会，几十亿的运营，小到几个志愿者的机构，都可以，
我们可以从最小做起。
以前因为网络杂志，和网友在纽约州注册过非赢利组织。开办的实事都是
网友做的，记得法律上最低要求不难满足。需要至少三人，
President, Treasurer, Secretary，每年这三个人要至少在一起
开一个会，每年要有财务报告，另外要写一个Nonprofit Bylaw,
相当于章程。组织还可以成立理事会等等。各州的要求或有不同，但我想
不会有根本的区别。申请注册需要交几十刀注册费，另外当时我们
被批准也有些波折。
