因为国内家里有急事，所以希望能快些拿到美国护照。
网上咨询一番，被告知new york passport agency可以walk in加急护照，如果机票是2
天内的，当天就能拿到护照。早上很早walk in，7点半开门，但一般5点就很长的队了。
我住Bridgewater NJ，驾驶技术一般，而且也怵纽约市内高昂的停车费，所以准备坐火
车进城。
早上最早的一班火车4:39 am开出，到达New York Penn Station已经5:58 am了。
然后换乘地铁1号线到Houston St，网上查到的班次是5分钟一般，6分钟可到。
我从没坐过纽约市的地铁，买票和NJ Train一样么？
地铁1号线New York Penn Station和Houston St一次往返票价多少？
这么算下来，我到达New York Passport Agency大门口最快也要6:15 am了。
这个时候还可以walk in当天拿到护照么？
是不是那里正式开门后就不可以walk in，而必须有预约才可以。
预约的话，我估计要等很多天。

1。需要准备
美国passport的2寸照片2张，我是家里照，在cvs打印的，成本1毛多，自己裁，店员会
给指点。
注意摘眼镜，不要有阴影（不开闪光灯），背景是白墙最方便了。
复印原有的passport，签证页护照页入境那个什么小白纸，这个要求跟网上一样。
网上download，打印，填写表格，只有一页，这个表格进门也会给你空白的。
注意，不需要回邮信封！不提供回邮服务！
付款是visa就行，但是取的时候才付，一个月后取。
2。换护照的地址是500 shatto place，使馆地址是443 shatto place，两个门口都有
一坨轮子，很好辨认（再次感慨southtiger的名言：就是一张厕纸也有它的用途！）
附近街道都是带meter表的停车，我们就停在了隔壁的一个公共停车场，每20分钟1块多
钱，10块钱封顶，最后花了7。5。
因为是8点多才出门的，所以抵达时已经是10点多了，等到12点多办完的。
房间有坐着等候的椅子，空调不算足，空气流通状况比较一般，室内不让吃喝，有人带

cause I need to go out of boarder to Canada but re-entry to US requires
validity of passport at lease 6 months beyond admittance. Is that true ?

13-10. If you want to save 35$ you must apply before Midnight Monday. You
can usually get an Application at a county courthouse or U.S. Postal Office.
Usually good for 10 years.
Also they are charging for extra pages also which seems to be the biggest
hike at 82$ which used to be free .
