再说了MYSQL是著名的开源免费数据库.到头来要SUE人家免费用那太可笑了, 又不是没
有其它开源数据库可以用, PostgreSQL也很好, 而且是接近BSD LICENSE, 就是说你卖
一个产品, 产品中包括了PostgreSQL也没关系.

separately. it did not work, so I read the faq and uninstalled them, then
downloaded the combo (hm and postgresql together in one zip file) and re-

你举的例子大都是用 C 写的例子。比如 JVM 应该是用 C 写的。PostgreSQL 也是
C 。而且 PostgreSQL server 方面的根本不能用 C++ （但是可以用 C / Java）。
N 多 embedded database 现在是用 Java 写。Jython (python 的一版本）是用
Java 写的。同样，JRuby 。PHP / C compiler 也都是 C 写的。 |

metadata安装到PostGreSQL数据库里。dspace的登录和浏览界面，会通过tomcat来运行
。Dspace在安装时，会让我建一个管理员帐号，用于管理用户、数据生成，和设置界面！
我的理解是，用我帐号装完了，我就logout! 我不知道server用哪个帐号运行。以前用
local administrator登录安装一直就这么下来的！任何用户想浏览，会通过dspace 的
web界面注册或登录。我通过dspace的web界面管理。

小时所在的cell tower的id（所以一天总共48个）。
原始数据都存在文本文件里，每半小时有一个文本文件，文本文件中每行为phone
number和一个tower id。不敢保证是不是每个文本文件中出现的phone number都一致。
我需要把这些数据进到一张表里，也就意味着1000w rows * 49 columns (1 phone
number + 48 tower ids)。
之前很少接触数据库，所以目前的土办法效率不是很高：分别处理所有文本文件。对于
每个文本文件中的每一行，搜索数据库表中这个phone number存不存在（phone number
为primary key），如果不存在就insert这个用户（同时insert的还有这个用户在该时
间段所
在的tower id），存在则update这个用户在该时间段所在的tower id）。
这么做非常慢，一个晚上大概新建几十万条，一个文本文件都处理不好。感觉连续跑一
周都不能完成。求好的建议！

有一些结构化的电信数据，总的来说是两部分，一部分是topology的数据，各个site的
属性，地理位置等，在每个site内部有一些不同种类的components，每个component有
不同的接口，接口之间是link，总的来说就是一个graph。另一部分是在整个graph上
components，接口，link上的数据，根据现有的数据来做分析，预测。
业务流程就是先把数据都load到数据库，然后前端可以显示出来整个的graph，可以查
看各个site，component，protocal，link的属性，数据。再做一些简单的仿真之后，
可以查看比如六个月之后各个结点的数据。
一开始的数据量可能不大，GB级别的原始数据通过浏览器调用web service的API load
到数据库。
数据库和应用服务器可以先放在一台server上，然后用户应该也不多，大概就10个，通
过内网连接。

Oracle spatial is just one option. mysql/postgresql/microsoft sql all have
spatial support.
.
Well, once you get data, you can load them into any spatial db with its
spatial data loader (usually a command line tool).
btw if you want to go with free db system i 'd suggest postgresql+postgis.
In my opinion it's better than mysql. |

如果你换着搭配，就会有冲突

自己拉出的大便，紧急招聘也找不到人擦屁股
因为没有谁能够在短时间内把所有的代码都读懂
都是他们自己人写的，再牛的人也需要时间去理解他们写的代码
最后会发现，可能最后解决问题的，还就是写代码那批人
如果写代码那批人无能力为，这个项目基本上可以宣告over了
死扛也没用，客观现实就是如此
他们这样搞，最后还不如一开始就用postgresql
自主创新是好事，但是他们太年轻了，对于当年80年代
一大帮人写数据库，最后大部分都失败了的那段历史没有记忆
所以开始重复历史上的杯具，c++最流行的时候，大部分项目都是失败的
这可不是什么玩笑话，没有银弹那些书，基本上都是冲着c++骂过去的
这个东西不是钱多就能搞定的，人是一个非常低级的生物
