顿特区的东南部，乃是黑人贫民窟。但Prince George Town里选出的黑人民主党众议员
是反对同性婚姻的，这也是选民结构决定，我不同意但理解其原因。
目前马里兰的民调是50%支持同性婚姻，44%反映。假如考虑进3%的统计误差，选民公决
的结果应该会支持同性婚姻，但这是在未考虑到有关集团的公众游说投入。比如加州的
全民公决前，天主教会和摩门教会投入大量广告，影响到一定数量的选民。我认识的一
位中国同志朋友在某实验室做博士后，身边的其他中国博士后居然会相信教会所言的“
救救孩子”的所谓呼吁，实乃“有文凭，没文化”。
所以教会这回是否会在马里兰投入巨资做反对同性婚姻的广告，以及这种广告的效果如

传统上，国王surname是他们封地/国名字。当王位从男的传到女的时候，surname会根
据女王丈夫的封地改变（而不是继续女王的国王老爸的姓）
维多利亚女王的丈夫Prince Albert封地在德国Saxe-Coburg-Gotha，所以维多利亚女王
的儿子爱德华七世的surname 就是Saxe-Coburg-Gotha
Queen Victoria's eldest son Edward VII belonged to the House of Saxe-Coburg-
Gotha (the family name of his father Prince Albert). Edward VII's son George
V became the second king of that dynasty when he succeeded to the throne in
1910.
现任女王的子女的surname是Mountbatten-Windsor, 因为女王她老公的surname是
