50k-70K，这个钱在deep south各州都能买很大的独栋house了，还不是很差的区。再说
生活，纽约到哪里都要做公交地铁，就算有钱了打车，自己独行还可以，但是要拖家带

fucking blocks and wait 15 mins before i sit my butt down and get some

on a side note, u know ur legs are fucking short, when u sit at the bar at
totto ramen, and ur feet can't touch the fucking ground, and u sit awkwardly
for the entire meal

some noodle. and i fucking tipped like 5 bucks... so i spent 16 bucks for
some fucking ramen noodles...
and i realized something about totto ramen. are the noodles there better
than other places? yes. are they so much better that it's worth 30, 40
minute wait every fucking time? no!!! but why do people still flock there?
it's exactly because they have to wait 30, 40 minutes!

我们夫妻两个从Midwest去Cancun玩，是周五早上出发的。因为是赶的早班飞机，上午
10点就到Cancun机场了。一下飞机，迎面的潮湿空气就扑面而来，很舒服。出海关拿行
李都蛮 顺利。刚要出机场大门，我们就被一位热情的大叔拦住了，他向我们介绍了很
多的旅游信息，花了十几分钟时间，然后就鼓励我们参加一个新建的旅店的推广项目，
告诉我们如果参加了这个项目，就可以吃免费早餐，并且以很低的价格订旅游项目。我
们有些担心是不是靠谱，就没和他订。出了机场，很快找到了Costco的大牌子接我们的
人，那位大姐就提醒我们，不要去买Time share, 当时还不太理解，结果下午就领悟了
大姐的好心。
很快到了酒店，CasaMagna Marriott大厅里一个大约有三五个人高的圣诞树，很漂亮，
很有圣诞气氛：
老公去check in, 多加了每天20美元，把房间换成了海景房。海景房还是很享受的，房
间外有一个阳台，上有两个舒服的椅子和一个小桌，外面就是蔚蓝的天空和辽阔的大海
，海浪很大，波浪滚滚的声音让人陶醉。 房间里可以看日出，虽然有云，景色也是不

我整天下馆子，大手大脚花钱的人

这是第二次被这加日本面店戏弄了，看到我和我老婆是中国人就特别怠慢。坐下后我老
婆要一杯热水，等了很久都不见上，然后又追问了一次waitress,得到的是操着浓重日
本口音的英语说是他们的热水机器坏了，不供应热水。如果餐馆连个烧热水的机器都没
有，怎么作面，而且热水器也不是我们来了才坏的，为什么在一开始不告诉我们。
然后一个waitress来给大家续冰水，所有桌子都续了，便加水还对边上桌子的老莫也点
头哈腰的，我也把我的空杯子放在桌边等着她来加水，但是她竟然转身就走了，我感觉
自己的脸被狠狠操了一下。
等了有半个多小时都不见我们点的两碗日本面，问了waitress，说马上了，又等了10分
钟，实在不想在被歧视对待了，就知趣离开了。

quite a few Japanese restaurants over there,like ramen, shabu shabu and etc
.. It should be better than nothing since there's really no decent Chinese
food near UCLA as far as I know. I remember two places Chibuya and Ramenya,

这个周末我去了樱花餐厅。食客不少，还都是日本人（估计的，反正是亚裔）。要了
Udon,Ramen,和Curry Rice. Udon面正常，因为本来就比较简单。Ramen面我要的是miso
汤的，上来感觉是miso+酱油，不过味道还不错，而且分量足，三个里面最好。那个日
本咖喱饭绝对就是糊弄，牛肉两三个小块，咖喱没香味，这个最烂。以后再去试试其它
的。 |

whenever I have Japanese food, I would always compare it against my
expereince in Tokyo. When I first came to New York in the 90s, I had always
look forward going back to Japan in summers because the Japanese food in NYC
was pretty bad then. It has improved so much in the past 10 years. Now, the
top Japanese restaurant in NYC is very compareable to those you would find
in Tokyo. I no longer miss Japan...

and just went there for lunch. ordered a miso ramen, then the waiter
brought me a bowl of red fucking soup with some noodle in it...
and the fucking soup is spicy!!!
when did miso soup base become red and spicy???!!
i ate half of it, and paid my bill and left. i asked them, did u guys
change the miso ramen? and they were like yeah, we changed it about a month
ago...

but there's only one party of 1 in front of me. all others were like party

so i waited, and waited, and waited for like 40 minutes. I finally asked

i finished the ramen noodle, paid 16 bucks, and walked out. I walked a
block, and suddenly i feel the onset of a diarrhea. the fucking noodle made
me want to poo soo fucking bad! i rushed back to work, ran straight to the
bathroom, and sat on the toilet, and pooed and pooed and pooed... on and off
for another 30 minutes.
during the time, there were like 5, 6 people came in to the bathroom, and
listened to my diarrhea...

发帖数: 35 | 44 第二天一早搭jetstar的飞机从Queenstown直飞Melbourne。女儿在飞机场发现不少有趣
的纪念品。
到了Melbourne，因为去Cairns的飞机还有五个小时，便去了趟chinatown找好吃的了。
结果真是让我们这些美国土鳖开了眼。大江南北，各色小吃，应有尽有。我们去食为先
吃的早茶，样样好吃。吃得LD都不想走了。看来下一次来，还是应该停留Melbourne几
日，还可以去ocean drive看一看。
傍晚飞到Cairns，再开车到Port Douglas。住在Sheraton Mirage。象是在热带雨林，
房子是旧了点，但有无数的pool。
第二天 坐quicksilver的船去great barrier reef。10:00从Port Douglas码头出发，
到达Agincourt Reef是11:30，12:00在平台上有自助餐。先去潜水，否则时间浪费在排
队吃饭上了。天气并不好，先带着LD和女儿去snorkeling。女儿开始比较害怕，不过第
二次下水就好得多了。第三次她们自己去了，我就去diving了。鱼并没有想象的多。

寿司生鱼片就不说了（前提是你花得起钱去筑地的大馆子而不是只吃回转），还有一些
平民一些的建议你多尝尝，比如拉面。
Ramen Udon和 Soba, Soba 接近凉面，Udon是粗面汤面，Ramen是细面汤面，汤和面的
种类分得很细，基本上关西各地，关东各地，北海道，冲绳几种吧。我最喜欢吃博多拉
面，也就是所谓的豚骨（猪骨）拉面，面基本上是可以生吃的，生熟/软硬程度也分几
种，汤很厚。这个是上不了台面的风味，一般商业区的连锁 （比如歌舞伎町的风龙）
味道也就三星out of 五星的样子，需要钻巷子找那种不超过十座的小小馆子，味道上
佳花费也一般不会超过两千。
烤鳗鱼一般夏秋季比较肥，冬季应该也找得到地方吃就是了。
也可以尝尝Mos Burger，如果你好这口的话 : ). |
