夫妻两人申请，我是主申请人。
因为马虎，只交了一份申请费。
今天（6月19日）收到纸质797C rejection notice。
但是只是我一个人的资料被退回，原因“The payment amount is incorrect".
申请费没有退。
退回材料里夹了一张绿纸写着
"You are invited to resubmit your application package
after you have corrected the reasons for rejection..."
问题来了：
1. 没退申请费的意思是另一个人的还在办理吗？
也就是我再交一份申请费（加resubmit我的材料）就好？
2. 退了主申请人的材料，他们怎么处理副申请人材料？
在等着我的材料吗？
3. 我是得等到十月份re submit，还是现在就赶紧re submit呢？

概况：
5月30日两人485申请delivered， 缴费错误的原因6月19日一人被reject，
一张绿纸说邀请resubmit。
因为正常排期得10月，所以现在提交问题重重。
但是，我还是决定赌一把，趟趟血路，看能不能给大家积累点经验
今天一会就去resubmit。回头给大家通报结果。希望对两个问题的解决有帮助：
1. 是不是一定得等到10月？会不会被reject，或者keep一年；
2. 如果被接收，会不会associate到另一人的case。

发帖数: 584 | 5 这是NSC所有10月，11月RD的I485 case的状态，真实琳琅满目，大家留作参考吧。
第一个数字是count，后面是相应的status。
其中522个fee waived的是政治避难。
这些485 case是我用程序把9月末到11月末
所有NSC的receipt number扫描一遍抓出来的，
应该包括所有10月的case和绝大部分11月的case。
那时候都是review状态，所列出的时间就是RD。
接下来我打算每隔几天再跟踪这些485 case，
由于有RD，可以知道各个RD的批准情况。我到时会在这里update的~

•03/21：律师帮我confurrent filing I-140(with PP) 和 I-485 under EB3C
到TSC
•04/03：律师收到TSC退回的package，里面所有的申请表、支票被盖章
•04/04：律师联系到TSC的Premium Process Unit Supervisor，对方承认错误地
把我的140放到了EB2C类。由于我已经有一个EB2C的记录（2012年同一家公司申请的）
，TSC就把这次的申请打回了。Supervisor说他会立刻update系统里我的分类，让我们

实验可以resubmit"? 这个不是拒, 这个一般来说最终会接受的.
如果是这样, 你要写的是 point-to-point explanation/answer, 而不是rebuttal. 你
永远不要rebut审稿人或者editor. 把那些实验的结果写上去, 说明理由, 并且放在
supplemental data里面就可以了.
当然, 如果我上面的理解不对, 那当我没说.
些实验，但是那些实验我们做过并认为和审稿人以为能证明的东西根本没有关系，所以
我们并不想把这些实验放上去。 文章被editor毙掉了，但说如果补充了实验可以
resubmit. 我们写了rebuttal letter说明为什么那个审稿人说的实验和我们的文章根
本没关系，而且他对实验有很多的误解。

got an invitation from another section. I guess that after the first time,
I am in the database and they found me. It does take a lot of effort. 3
rounds a year plus reviewing papers. Taking days to read them. Half of my
effort are gone. But I did not feel it help my connection. As for grant
writing, I see more clear about how it is reviewed rather than make my own
guess.

少试验。editor 让我们补充试验后resubmit. 花勒三个月基本完成勒所有要求的试验
而且还补充勒新发现。感觉很不错。resubmit 后editor 反响很快当天就送出去审勒。
现在一个月过去勒。上周查状态由under review 变成是scheduled for editorial

文章在哪些方面做了改进，问他我们可不可以resubmit，Editor同意，最后文章被接收
了。后来我的一个合作伙伴的一篇文章也是这样，投NG被拒，半年后resubmit，最后接
收。
我和我的合作伙伴真的是一点都不牛。你不妨给Editor发一个Email问一下，将cover
letter附上。如果Editor不同意或不回你（一般一个礼拜以内）就move on吧。 |

投的Clinical Cancer Research，reviewer 1正面评价、review 2反面，最后editor给
了reject。
两个审稿人给的comment都不涉及思路、novelty等问题，说的大问题都是manuscript写
的问题，因为这是临床的刊，所以都说unclear how these results will impact
clinical management
在此请教大家，我个人的想法是：改了重新resubmit，因为paper的topic比较对
Clinical CR的胃口。老板的意思是转投别的刊。所以：是resubmit还是转投，请教大
家的意见！

，你被reject 了，但是不同于一般的reject 的是，你还可以把文章大修改以后作为一
篇全新的submission 投稿，编辑也当作你这篇文章从来没投稿过，完全可能找全新的
referees 来审稿。
co-editor 应该没有写什么详细书面报告，可能就说了一两句话，所以editor 也没哟
什么可以发给你的。当然你可以写信去问问可不可以看看co-editor 得原话。 |

告时间。
2.写报告前两天，可以利用自己的闲散时间，比如午饭等，把文章先大概读一下。我基
本上都是在上下班的BUS上看的。然后在接下来的两天可以想想有什么观点可以写在报
告里。
3.这些工作准备好后，基本半天就能把报告搞定了。不会浪费太多时间。
4.resubmit半年内回去都算正常，尤其是当referee要求比较多时。我以前好像写过一
个专门讨论resubmit的文章，可以看下，呵呵。 |

我朋友今年刚毕业，刚好收到了DMV要求的extension driver licence的通知。
于是他就去了。在那提供了护照、OPT版I20(那时候刚提交申请OPT不久所以还没收到
EAD卡)以及I94卡（这个是在护照里夹着）。
办完了，拿到了临时，于是就回去了。
就在今天，他收到了这么封信，说是要他还准备些东西，，他现在有点发愁，因为根本
就没有DS-2019表、A#、I-797表。。比上次多出的东西就一张EAD卡。
