公司旁边就是Santa Ana river,有条TRAIL沿河直通太平洋,公司不少同事都中午去骑一
圈,
车版有两个牛人也去骑过,俄在此工作经年却没有去跑过,人生不完美。
今天天气暖和却不炎热，太阳半掩在白云后面，正是跑步的好日子，俄换了短打扮，
FANNYBAG装瓶水，可惜ON CALL，还得带上个BB，最重要带上小小相机一个,跑步的同时
还兼旅游。
可惜相机在公司没办法连上，只好随便拿几张混一下。
少少伸展一下，出发，Santa Ana river 是一条人工运河。是这样的。
当年终结者2就在这里拍的追车一段。
向西跑不多久，河床开始堆积沙子，有个沙石公司专门疏通河道，顺便卖沙子，可见这
个资源取之不尽。河床郁积起来，长起了植物，还有水鸟栖息，俨然一个小LAGOON。 |

如同以往，此次漂流又吸引了众多新老朋友的加盟。在麻州和New Hampshire边界集齐人马之后，一干人便浩浩荡荡杀向Vermont州Windsor郡的Riverside。这个季节最后几条适合漂流的河流之一，White River，便静静得流淌在这里。随着VT Rte 107西行，眺望远方起伏的Green Moutain，路边充满田园风情的农庄，还有缠绕在群山中，天鹅绒丝带般的White River，心中畅快的仿佛要流淌出诗歌来。来到下船点，已有不少爱好漂流、游泳、甚至“高台跳水”的老美们聚集于此，迫不及待的要把青山绿水拥入怀中。
聪明的老中们自然不会赶这个热闹，俗话说的好，人是铁饭是钢，得把肚子填饱先。于是乎，每次漂流活动的必杀项目：聚餐，在此隆重上演。大家发扬奋不顾身，不怕牺牲的大无畏革命精神，争相把包括四川大厨YXB夫妇在内的XDJM们准备的美食收入腹中。一时间刀光剑影，觥筹交错，大家吃的是不亦乐乎。

it is might be class IV river.
My teammates(not me) have done Dyway with single kayak, which is double the
Avg Gradient over that one. Avg Gradient is another key element to measure
how tough the rivers could be.

around 7:20am. It’s my first open water with a wet suite. I tried it last
night at home and it’s quite an effort to put it on and take off. This
morning I applied some Vaseline around ankle and calf area. It was much
easier to put on the suite with the help of lubricant. Also make sure you
get to use the bathroom before you put on the wet suite. Otherwise you would
redo 75% of the work.

But I have to disagree with you about the importance of the river here.
IMO, a lot of important dicision is made on the flop and turn, rather than
on the river, at least for good players.
Only bad players, those so called calling stations will follow you to the
river, holding a pair or a draw. Either their draw gets busted or they will
call your bet with a pair and give you money.
Good players make their decisions on the flop and the turn. On the flop,

I think it is fine to call turn bet,fold to river huge bet.
Usually ppl will tailor the bet size, make the turn bet big enough, and put
you allin on the river.
People can definitely run 3-barrel bluff here with 78s, because they can
represent a narrow range here, and make aq fold there.
Saw "kidpoker" make the same move here with 78s in 10k buyin scoop event.

Good read: he does not have 1010+, he was on a draw.

Bottom line: got taken to value down with a pair on river.

是不是会call我的bluff，所以很多时候也不敢弄。
下面这手CO很loose，我3bet，其实有点isolate的意思，准备让他call的（3bet得有点
多了），但SB call进来我觉得不妙。
flop大家都check，turn上SB bet不多，CO call后，我感觉肯定落后的，大概都是比我
大的overpair，要按一般情况我会fold，可今天前面比较衰，让人badbeat好几次，突
然就想，call了等set吧，虽说没剩多少筹码了。
没想到river是张A，而且前面两人都check。我立刻排除AA，AK也几乎不可能撑到现在
，所以我没犹豫，allin。SB很快fold，CO想了好一会儿fold。我的range太窄了，AK不
像，AA前面不bet？我都不知道他们会认为我是什么牌。。但是他们可能不想level自己
太厉害，干脆fold了。
这手牌到了NL100估计会死得很难看。

fish, and all other players on the table are regs.
I started this hand with about 2.5K. I raised to 40$ with Ako MP, a
loose reg 3 bet to 140$, the loose asian fish cold called 140$. Loose reg

thought it would be hard to take down the pot with only top pair. So I took
the line of minimum raise at turn. His tank and call confirmed that he

turn made flush. On the river, I blocking bet 30, but seems like villain
didn't get it. He still river bet 350，让我错误估计他想take down the pot 而
不是over size value bet。 Villain's river bet got paid off.

trading 的主页，和朋友交谈后的印象，hudson river trading 感觉比较本科生的文
化，强项重在编程和系统的基建，但是统计的博士和创新能力好像并不能得到很好的
leverage，最后很可能和CS的本科们混在一块了，玩基建的比拼了。 最为比较，好像
她说更理想的模式是像 TwoSigma 那样的，一群 standard statistics dept 的前后校
友聚在一块研究策略，很容易有相同的 mind set，更容易心有灵犀，互相启发并且出
高效的成果来
不过以上也是很初浅短暂的印象，不知道是不是有所偏颇。还希望板上有更了解
Hudson River Trading 或者接触过他们家的大牛和大大牛给一些 color，不尽感谢啊

发帖数: 16 | 37 早就想走一圈Arkansas River Trail，上周末终于按捺不住尝试了一下。计划从Big
Dam Bridge出发，沿着 North Little Rock 的 River Trail 一直到Downtown，然后过
桥，从 Little Rock 回来。 全程大概14 mile左右。
上周的洪水果然凶猛，Big Dam Bridge 北边的路还是封着的，桥下面的小路仍浸没在
水中。
Trail 旁边的树和牌子都被洪水冲倒了。
这个据说是Canadian goose，也在河边活动，而且总是一对大的带几只小的，一家子一
起散步，真是温馨。
路上都是泥土，洪水留下的印记。
河边树木还浸泡在江水中。
走到这里就已经有点累了。。。
这也不知道是个什么遗址，还是洪水或者龙卷风留下的杰作。
这个图案看似涂鸦，但在好几个地方都见到，是什么意思呢？

简单介绍一下，detroit river连接lake erie和lake st clair，是所有鱼必经之路和
