上个星期正是康州北部红叶最好的时候，随便从CT的STATE
PARK 里挑了一个haystack state park去看看
打南边开过去，走8号路往北，一过exit 29,渐入佳境，
特别是过了城市密集的NEW HAVEN COUNTY到了Litchfield
County以后，就全是风景。
8号路到头，转44往西，交界处是一个叫WINSTED的小镇，
有不少的小教堂，尖尖的顶，古普的石头结构，加上门前
亮丽的枫树，衬上缤纷的远山，特别典型的NEW ENGLAND小
镇秋色。
ROUTE44向西开的10mile，也是一路红橙黄绿，然后
转route 272 向北不到1mile,haystack state park就在你
的左手边。往前的272呢，又是4mile的SCENERY ROUTE，路边

，说是从Kent沿7号路一路开上来的，沿途风景极好。我想这个周末去，不知道叶子会

Henninger Flats这条路大部分是防火道，不适合夏天走，却正好适合周六的多云
天气，顺带可以欣赏山下的城市景色和山上Mt.Wilson的积雪。
因为路程短，可以晚些出发，到山顶上camping site午餐potluck，然后打牌杀人，
傍晚下山再腐败。

根据自己的时间和兴趣，要想每个景点看一遍，至少要在里面玩三天。大部分旅行社的
线路安排都是一整天，走马观花，在几个著名景点前拍照留念，到此一游。每年的黄石
公园线路总是最受欢迎的，今年8月份的线路提前一个月就定满了。西雅图出发5天大巴
团，比起飞到盐湖城、洛杉矶、拉斯维加斯来参团有利有弊。好处是省心，从家门口出
发，5天后返回，不需要经过飞行、接机送机的麻烦，费用低很多；缺点就是，坐车时
间长。好在沿途停留的景点不少。
下面这个线路，是西雅图一帮爱好旅游的老外定的线路，大部分是单身，参团并交友，

so beautiful before. It is very close to Monte Blanc, the highest mountain
in Europe. You can ski along a very long glacier when you ski down the grand
mountain. There is also a small resort call Les Houch (?), where you will

great lens as opposed to the 14-42 junk that is in most bundles. The camera
takes amazing video. In low light it is practically night vision
particularly when paired with the 20mm pancake. The cheapest I had seen it
before is $1000 at Samy's but that was only BM for those in Cali and you had
to pay tax.

Interstate (40?). The local highway is not busy, with only one gas station,
so fill up. Do not speed, and take reasonable breaks.
The Interstate has a lot of rest stops. The road back to LV may be busy in
the evening.
If you have a lot of free time, first go north, then east via smaller
