问了一下Discover Customer Service, Discover 把我踢
到承揽他们这项业务的保险公司那里, 1-800-662-8855,
得到的答复是: if accident due to the secondary driver,
那么LDW 他们不负责cover. (但如果secondary driver和primary
driver 拥有同一个discover card account, 还可以cover.
但我是没戏了. :( )
//ft 搞来搞去, platinum card 只有在我一个人开车时才
有用.
另外还被告知的一点是: 出了车祸如果是本方的责任, 那么
不管当时是primary driver还是secondary driver在开车,
都将由primary driver的车保险cover 对方车. secondary
driver 没有责任. 我原来还以为谁开车, 谁的保险负责呢. :( |

Usually loan ready to sell through secondary market has to conform wth Fannie Mae rules and can get better rate. Loan not sell through secondary market may have loose application criteria and easy to get approved based on bank's underwriting rules, usually more flexible than the Fannie Mae rules. |

我们joint claim了American Hope Credit，被audit了。说PharmD program属于
graduate program，不能claim American Hope Credit。查了IRS Pub 970，上面说的
是post secondary education就qualify。上网搜了一下，有一些网站也把grad school
算作post secondary educaiton
哪里有个post secondary的legal definition
版主，给点建议吧！

it will help.
The problems I had are:
1. Check Engine Light on, Error code P0411--Secondary Air Injection System,
incorret flow.
2. Battery drained out after the car was parked overnight, happened twice last
week.
All the problems are caused by a broken relay--secondary air injection pump
relay. Its product number is 357906381b, search on vw parts web and you can
find out what it looks like. It's NOT on the main relay |

LZ问的是Liability,我还从没听说过有信用卡COVER这个。不过一般自己的保险都自动
cover的，打个电话跟保险公司确认一下。
信用卡能cover的是CDW/LDW,AMEX 25块钱那种是primary的，部分信用卡也是primary的
，比如chase united，其他大多数信用卡都是secondary的。不过如果你自己保险没CDW
的话，secondary跟primary也没差别了。
FYI,我从没理赔过，不过根据网上的经验，信用卡免费的CDW，visa是最好的 |

大部分信用卡的insurance是secondary，也就是你的保险没有，或者有了但不够时才能
用；
而这个UA的保险特点就是primary，也就是无论你是否有自己的coverage，它都会第一
位使用，否则不就跟上面的一样了？
当然，这里明确一下：上面说的coverage都是对租的车，也就是通常全险中collision
& comprehensive部分。如果你损伤了别人的车或人，而且at fault，这个就是
liability，所有信用卡的insurance都不包括（自然没有primary, secondary之争了）
，大多说你只能用自己的auto insurance，除非你花钱买了额外的liability
insurance，比如好像AMEX有个program。但那是需要花钱的，免费的没有。 |

昨晚打电话的时候我特地仔细问了一下，我说卡的term上写了是primary的啊，结果接
线员说primary只是在business use的情况下才成立，如果是personal use就是

primary insurance，不cover的部分再送给secondary insurance。如果直接送
secondary insurance，他们不会理。有的医生不知道该怎么整，有的医生嫌麻烦。今

对于年轻教授出工资的情况很少，实际就是给你个favor而已。senior的香饽饽

既然这个GOLDMAN SACHS BK USA NY的利息比同类产品好这么多，风险应该很低的吧（

2) new issues have full lots ($100k, or whatever). secondary issues have odd
lots. there is only 5K interest at the ask price (vs. 95K at bid), maybe
somebody is eager to liquidate that 5K at a slightly better price.
This is only like 4 months at such low rate, it makes no difference when the
yield differs by only 0.2-0.3% |

我现在的房子贷款是15年fixed， 5.125%, monthly payment: $1700, 准备用5年ARM

大多数brokers说只能够作investment property来refinance，所以rate比较高。有个
中国broker说，可以做secondary home。我可以说，这里我还有朋友，我留下这个房子
作vacation home，时不时回来度假。至于贷到款以后出租，谁也管不着。我继续追问
这样是否合法，查到了有什么后果。他说他只能够说得点到为止，贷款批下来以后，很
少会追查你到底是不是investment property。

结果前天发现dripping pan里有水。切开pvc,里面没问题。没有接primary pvc时，
secondary 也滴水。量了一下水平，（drain 在前面，primary 在右侧，seondary左侧
靠中），前低后高，左右平。
我的推测： 1）前后坡度太大 2）左右坡度不够 3）housing没问题， 但是 coil没放好
昨天公司来人，也不听我解释，硬说primary drain堵了，吹了半天只有一些debris,结
果接上还是滴水。说是左右坡度不够，但是要两个人才可以做。又要重新预约。
请问可能是什么引起的？ |

公司来人重新装了。拆开看过，里面每问题。他们的解决方案是，整体抬高4“，可以
提高静水压。然后重新调角度。问题解决。我量了一下， 和你建议的差不多。两天了
，没有secondary漏水迹象。
其中一个技术员注意到室外condenser fan motor很吵。说是bearing问题，可以考虑换
motor,但是要7百多(6 year old comfort maker). 我网上订了一个，才135刀，准备自
己换。请问如果shaft和fan blade锈了，除了用shaft puller,还有什么方法？ |
