发帖数: 2 | 10 我认为core index fund方面Vanguard还是要更胜一筹。Fidelity只是有几个Spartan
fund的ER比Vanguard低一些，而且还是因为要跟Vanguard竞争而不得已降低的。
Vanguard index fund的好处太多了，这里举几个例子：
1) index fund种类齐全，除了international small cap以外别的好像基本上都有了，
而且ER基本都是市场最低
2) 有ETF作为mutual fund的share class（这一点是Vanguard首创，专利所有），非常
的tax efficient，大多数的index fund很长时间以来从来没有过capital gain
distribution
3) index fund可以申请转为对应的ETF，进一步降低ER和增加tax efficiency
4) George Sauter和他的Vanguard Quantitative Equity Group是操作indexing的骨灰
级玩家，往往能把Vanguard index fund的after-tax return弄得比其他 |

对了，为啥Vanguard的500 index的管理费也要0.18%？我看其他的比如Spartan 500

(1-y)^250 = 1-0.001

每个都是25%，才工作几个月，也没管，但是今天看到已经亏了不少，虽然知道最近大
