格斗机器人combat robot的比赛，在2000年前后是一个高潮期，美国有battlebots，英
国有robot wars，但后来各自由于电视台组织比赛的经费问题停办。但美英各自都有自
己的小圈子比赛。与此同时还有一个世界性的比赛叫做Robogames，一直持续了很多年。
battlebots在2015年死灰复燃，由ABC推出电视录播。随即2016年英国的robot wars也
重新举办。2016年battlebots的冠军tombstone和季军Minotaur，其实都是在robogames
厮杀多年的老兵。tombstone以前是last rites，只不过运气比较背，连2015年第一届
battlebot进了决赛也没拿到，从没拿过冠军，去年是第一次突破。Minotaur是巴西战
队，原来是touro系，有不同大小的机器人参与各个量级比赛。巴西人在robogames的最
后几年进步迅猛，现在基本上是唯一能打败tombstone的战队。 |

发帖数: 3043 | 22 前面说了，日光灯点了一天就坏了，发现是镇流器坏了。于是买了lowes的$15两个的
LED日光灯，32W, T4
看了网上的讨论，发现要把两端的接头做个修改。接头叫Tombstone，有4个铜线插入孔
（左右各两个），里面有弹簧片可以让日光灯的顶端的两个针划入，然后转一下就接触
弹簧片，通过铜线连到镇流器。既然镇流器坏了，就希望LED能够直接使用交流电。网
上很多的说法是，要把左右两边的铜线互相绝缘，就是把里面的铜片剪断。好不容易剪
断了，发现亮度奇差，只有大概100流明左右。微微能看到东西。
今天看到有个人在lowes网上回我的问题，他说要把4个铜线插入孔左右两边分别插入L
和N。就是说，在灯的一端提供两个线，另一端只起到支撑作用。我好不容易改了，一
点不亮。换了4种插法。
拆下来，换到普通的日光灯上，有镇流器的，非常明亮。我这个LED说是两用的，于是
我判断网上的说法是错误的。因为通过镇流器后的线连到了Tombstone上，两个弹簧片
是导通的，灯是通过两端提供L和N，而不是在一端的两个针。然后把4个铜线的中间的

则tombstone 会有可能重新回来。如果你没有delete, 而且read, write 都quorum, 理
论上就不需要repair.但一般为了保证data eventual consistent,都会repair. repair
时会消耗大量的 CPU memory disk 和 network bandwidth, 所以repair的时候server
最容易出事。 |

Otherwise, tombstones may come back to live. As goodbug said, deletes might
not get to all the nodes because of the eventual consistency, and repair
will fix that.
Read this blog if you want to know more, delete in distributes system is
tricky.
