Why has the stock market been rallying during the past five months? In
hindsight, it seems simple. As long as the Fed or any other central bank (

As I have been writing in recent months (Read Viewpoints: Will the sweet
spot for stocks continue?), there have been four factors supporting risk
assets since November: the economy, the market's technical condition (or

Why:
Why not:

Even for the most fearless amongst us, job interviews can be nerve wracking.
In order to give us the best chance of success we tend to prepare for many
of the difficult questions we anticipate, questions like:
Why should we hire you?
What can you do for us that other candidates can’t?
What are your key strengths and weaknesses?
Of course, you can nev...

Why has the stock market rallied during the past five months? In hindsight,
it seems simple: As long as the Fed or any other central bank is printing
money, then stocks rally.
As I have been saying, four factors have been supporting risk assets since
November: the economy, the market's technical condition, sentiment, and
monetary policy. Until a few weeks ago, the first three factors had been
losing steam and were at risk of toppling the market—or so it seemed. But

Jennifer Bristol recently lost one of her oldest friends—thanks to a
Facebook fight about pit bulls.
The trouble started when she posted a newspaper article asserting that pit
bulls were the most dangerous type of dog in New York City last year. "
Please share thoughts… 833 incidents with pitties," wrote Ms. Bristol, a 40
-year-old publicist and animal-welfare advocate in Manhattan.
A recent study looks at rates of over...

they could do it too. Well, I...

Let's examine now the real reasons people oppose it, even fear it:
1. Just not comfortable with the idea. The fact the people aren't
comfortable with the idea stems primarily from the fact that for many years,

"A man is incomplete until he is married. After that, he is finished." - Zsa
Zsa Gabor
Society says you are incomplete until you're married. It is part of our
social programming. Your parents are expecting you to get married, to follow
on with their tradition and give them grandchildren. Your friends are all
getting married too, leaving you left out. So, if everyone is doing it,
doesn't that mean it must be right? Are there any reasons not to marry?
You bet! Many good ones. There are many disadv...
