发帖数: 43 | 2 9月底到美国落户工作，国内有驾照，目前计划了一下，
请大家帮说说其中可能出现的问题以及注意事项：
9月24日当天下午1点多到JFK机场，预约了当天下午4点取一辆Hertz的普通车，
机场附近取车（用国内带英文的新驾照租），
然后开到大约40 miles外的酒店入住。
由于Hertz之类的车太贵，考虑只租一天；
第2天找一个当地的租车公司(rent a wreck)按照weekly rate租至少2周
因此第2天和lp一起租好第2辆车，然后俩人一起开到8 mile外还Hertz的车，
再开回来去办理SSN。
这种租车方式合理么？另外，我们计划买一辆新车，
按照新办理SSN两周拿到，车应该是怎么着也是2周后才能买吧？
如果通过我在美国的哥能弄到足够多现金，不办理贷款的话，
买车可以快一些么？2周也算是最快的了吧？ |

后来在Local跟垃圾车撞了被Total
驾驶室被撞凹，侧面无气囊，硬碰硬
LD从副驾驶室爬出来，叹了一口气，好车
虽然这车是没有日车好开，但用料十足，外号小坦克，因此真心加速很不给力，但上下
班够用了，我们还拿来开过长途，虽然后来有人给了我们一辆15万麦的accord，加速操
控神马的都很好，但再也没有当初爱PT那份心了，
它也算尽职了，LD连医院都没进，PT全毁了，最后我们卖wreck还卖了650块，被两个红
脖子大叔拉走了，估计拆零件去了

1.车是隔壁老美停的，说是他妈来这边治病，临时停在我家前面，抱歉之前没打招呼。
表示会马上挪到拐角不靠近任何房子的小区道路上，还好我问一下，据说打算停三个月。
2.我在socal，咱这的规定是：

vehicle parked for more than 72 consecutive hours without being driven at
least 1/10th of a mile on a public street. It is also illegal to park any
abandoned, wrecked, dismantled or inoperable vehicle on private property

20岁的女驾驶员开一辆MB ML320越过中线，与一辆toyota tacoma侧面擦蹭后，再与
一辆toyota sequoia正面对撞。这条路人们长开55-60mph，所以两车相对速度可达110-
120mph，显然碰撞极其惨烈。。。
结果20岁的MB女驾驶员不幸遇难，而63岁的sequoia驾驶员受伤存活
ML320在IIHS的"Moderate front overlap"测试分数为"G" --- Good
ML320碰撞结果：(curb weight = 4786 lbs)
Sequoia碰撞结果：(curb weight = 5730lbs/2wd, 5985lbs/4wd)
两车安全笼都受损，但是MB显然结果更糟糕
结论－－车重为王。如果你是很安全很保守开车很小心的司机，面对马路上的各种杀手
司机，最好的保护自己的方法是开大车。如果ML320撞上的是一辆4400lb的minivan，后

Patrol said Friday.
Two cars were involved in the wreck, which took place about 5:15 p.m. at
Sunset Boulevard West and Fiddyment Road, according to the CHP.

不久前在高速上规规矩矩地开着车被追尾,情况如附图1. 当时是上班高峰,前面刹车比
较急,我停下以后就从后视镜看到后面的车快速驶来,她试图转入右边车道,但是因为速
度过快,撞上了我的车右后侧,她的车滑入右道后又刮到第三条车道的一辆车.救护车来
了后我们都去了医院,几小时后警察才到我所在的医院向我询问情况.

On April 9, 56-year-old Robert Norman, Kingsville, was killed in a three-

FRS doesn't have HID projector headlight unless you go for a "special
edition", no power under 5000 rpm - very limited power band, narrow tires...
not very practical in terms of backseat room, trunk is quite good but narrow
, you will fold down the backseat a lot. highway driving is not as stable as
you thought, it's light therefore you can feel the wind blowing you around.
