much cheaper than Mnahattan then. $1K would get you a very nice studio in
the center of town. Everything else was more expensive, especially food,
public transportation too. I really enjoyed the city though and I would like
to work there again if I can. Not sure if Geneva is anything like Zurich.

发帖数: 2855 | 3 O'Hare机场已经来过好几次了，不过这次登上去Zurich的飞机前还是让我吃了一惊，查
票的黑大妈和登机前检票员居然都没有看我有没有瑞士签证。飞机在黄昏的时候起飞，
很快掠过了Michigan Lake，经过了灯火璀璨的Toronto和Boston，然后是跨越大西洋，
终于在第二天早上11点左右到达了Zurich机场。入关出奇意外的简单，几乎没有一个人
排队，盖章的大叔问了一个问题之后，大章一盖，大手一挥，放行。走出机场，穿过一
条街就到了火车站，买了Swiss Pass，顺便在ATM上取了些Cash，便直接跳上了去
Lausanne的火车。
刚上火车，开始感觉不舒服起来，赶快买了一杯热咖啡，开始领略瑞士昂贵的物价。火
车不紧不慢的行使着，我开始漫不经心的看起窗外的风景来：果然跟我所在的Midwest
不同，到处都是连绵的山丘和河流，随处都可见悠然自得的牛羊。Zurich到Friburg这
一段的起伏倒不算太大，看到的都是些不高的山丘。过了Friburg之后，雄伟险峻的阿
尔卑斯山脉便开始隐隐可见，一眼望去，看不到尽头。然后Lac Leman也开始出现在眼

走下飞机，首先被Zurich机场目不暇接的手表广告震撼了一番。对瑞士人的严谨、品质
生活略有耳闻，他们引以为豪的手表业，也恰恰滴水不漏地诠释了这些特点。只是没有想
到，在机场就这么直白地被宣传了一遭。
毫无悬念，英文在瑞士被沦落为德语、法语、意大利语之后的第四种语言，不过Zurich国
际机场，各处还带有英文标注。LD所谓的Zurich机场牛叫，也很快被揭秘。本以为会遇到
类似印度牛上街的洗具，其实，不过是机场transport train里面，播放的录音而已。
我们一家人随着行色匆匆的人流来到Custom。夹杂在瑞士人中，第一次感觉自己身高明显
低于此地平均水平，LD在此也不过是及格线擦边。身边的人多为白种人，西装革履的不
在少数，比起美国的老大粗们，瑞士这边的人着装正式程度高了不少。Custom窗口前排队
的人们，出奇的安静，简直肃穆到让我有穿越回中学操场，全校几百号人鸦雀无声地站立
等待升旗仪式举行的感觉。
离开美国前，为了能把我家6大件，4小件，共10箱行李运到机场，最后一天，我们租了一

此外，你受西方教育比较多，有些说话方式上的区别。你现在这么一说，都能看出你是实
在来问问题的。其实前面也有不少人给你诚恳的回答了。
1. 跟你的职业相关。一般瑞士的工作强度没有美国高（休假多），但职位越高，在哪都
是累的。
2.3. 瑞士高薪，低Tax（~20%），高消费（主要是租房和肉价贵）。Zurich 200K
CHF大致等同于NYC, London 200K USD/欧元的生活水平，相当好了，尤其一个人花的
话。Zurich大概没有NYC那么好找gf，尤其如果你想找亚洲女孩。NYC亚裔高素质美女不
要太多，不过遇到拜金女欲女的概率也高。
4.这边平常daily life比较单调，商店8点关门，周日也不开。只有餐馆之类的开到10
点左右。但度假旅游选择很多，欧洲也比美国有文化和生活品质上的优势。
5.其实大家就这个问题回答了好几次了，只要你有工作(瑞士工作稳定性也比美国高，

不担心被裁)，你是澳洲公民，呆5年以上，就能拿到瑞士的PR

去年12月，戴利（左）与中国商务部部长高虎城在北京会面。内部邮件显示，其他摩根
大通银行家认为，两人在2006年会面后，戴利支持摩根大通雇佣高珏。当时，戴利担任
摩根大通高管，高虎城担任中国商务部副部长。
一名叫高珏的年轻人曾在摩根大通(J.P. Morgan Chase & Co.)的面试中表现得很差，
工作签证弄得一塌糊涂，还不慎将一封带有性暗示的邮件发给了一名人力资源部门雇员
，资深银行人士形容他“不成熟、不负责任也不可靠”，据该行内部邮件及知情人士透
露。
然而摩根大通还是雇佣了他，在该行大规模裁员中保住了他的位置，并且如果他回覆他
们的相关问题的话，后来公司还准备为他提供另外一个职位。

张票一共4600 不到。查了无数次各大网站，问了若干代理，觉得还是直接上航空公司
网站订，可靠，不象代理网站，跟股票行情似的，一会儿一变。最夸张的是ORBITZ，最
先出来1400左右的票，选择后到下一页面就变成1800, 再选择又跳成2300，最后到3000
多，吓得我赶快跑。AA也是，一天内早中晚甚至一个小时之內价格都不一样。东航最
奇怪,在香港的网站上看到1800直飞的JFK -PVG，兴冲冲去买，忙活半天不成功，以为
境外信用卡拒收，又让国内家人试也不行，付款人必须是乘客之一，如果你有中国香港
发的不妨一试，代理说东航直飞的6到7月这会儿连2000都买不到了，可是香港网站上看
到空位还不少啊，买不到干生气。绝望之际老公在travelocity上看到AirSwiss的，时
间上很好，还免了开到纽约的麻烦，我不放心，直接到公司网站上看，惊喜还略便宜一
些，下单的时候有听判决的感觉，紧张。就是有3个小时overlay，一个人拖两小屁孩，

发帖数: 397 | 30 以前FIA Amex可以转Aeroplan时搞了个账号积了些里程，之后坐Star alliance的飞机
都积到那里去。而LD和小娃一直是积到Mileage Plus里。最近两边一比较，发现积到
Aeroplan好亏，举几个例子：
United Airlines, operated by Swiss K-Class, Newark->Zurich, 在Mileage Plus积
了1060 miles，Aeroplan不给积。我还以为他们搞错了，在网上request credit，给我
回了封信说Aeroplan Miles cannot be accumulated for the booking class flown
on the partner airline.
United Airlines, San Francisco->香港，在Aeroplan才积了3451 miles。因为是我一
个人走的，没法跟Mileage Plus比较，但LD从San Francisco->北京却在Mileage Plus
积了5914 miles，而机票价格差不多。

一直以全美大学排名为金字招牌的USNEWS，在今天联合汤森路透，发布了2015年全球大

But zurich is also charming with forest,hills, river and lake. If you live
near one of them you will find peaceful in your soul.
I think zurich just give more chances to the city people to close and enjoy
the nature, this is the most attractive point.

Are you kidding?
Zurich is definitely more expensive. Just look at the "most expensive
citieis to live in" ranking list. And when my friend and I visited Lausanne
and Geneva, we were like, oh that's so cheap......even though it's still
technically very expensive, compared to Zurich prices, it's not bad. How
pathetic.
But I do like it here a lot. |

within Austria: had a quad room, shared the room with one extra person, didn
't have any issue.
Budapest - Zurich: had a triple room for ourselves, so nothing.
Madrid-Barcelona: only 6-ppl rooms available, shared with others. Mom
noticed that someone was opening her purse, but she woke up and moved
immediately, so nothing was lost. Later on, we were talking with two others
in the room. They are local Spanish people and they said |

在Zurich骑自行车已是恍惚如回家；坐火车往南两三小时到接近意大利的瑞士小城
Lugano，惊喜地发现了更多的中国痕迹。
Lugano附近的省会Bellizona有一座叫Castelgrande的城堡，翻译成英语是The Grand
Castle，据说是公元前的罗马大帝奥古斯都时期建造的，几经摧毁修葺。我称之为长城
，因为和长城的确很像，石砌，坚固，逶迤在山头，甚是雄伟。虽然比我们的长城短很
多，但在照片上截取片段则不见长短，在夜幕中尤其漂亮。
山脚下有个别出心裁的餐馆，开在山腹中，进山的洞口犹如一把钥匙。
进洞后沿一狭长小道走入电梯，不知电梯往上还是往下，反正出来后眼前豁然一亮，大厅宽敞，灯光辉煌，完全看不出山洞的样子。晚宴很丰盛，吃啥不记得了，只记得一个法国女人不断抽烟——当时伦敦已经禁止在公共场合吸烟，英国其... 阅读全帖 |

张票一共4600 不到。查了无数次各大网站，问了若干代理，觉得还是直接上航空公司
网站订，可靠，不象代理网站，跟股票行情似的，一会儿一变。最夸张的是ORBITZ，最
先出来1400左右的票，选择后到下一页面就变成1800, 再选择又跳成2300，最后到3000
多，吓得我赶快跑。AA也是，一天内早中晚甚至一个小时之內价格都不一样。东航最
奇怪,在香港的网站上看到1800直飞的JFK -PVG，兴冲冲去买，忙活半天不成功，以为
境外信用卡拒收，又让国内家人试也不行，付款人必须是乘客之一，如果你有中国香港
发的不妨一试，代理说东航直飞的6到7月这会儿连2000都买不到了，可是香港网站上看
到空位还不少啊，买不到干生气。绝望之际老公在travelocity上看到AirSwiss的，时
间上很好，还免了开到纽约的麻烦，我不放心，直接到公司网站上看，惊喜还略便宜一
些，下单的时候有听判决的感觉，紧张。就是有3个小时overlay，一个人拖两小屁孩，

，不很辣，但
川菜的香，麻，各种滋味很第到。有机会和大厨（老板）聊聊，颇有大师水准。
推荐樟茶鸭，干煸牛肉丝，红油牛肉。。。

test taken by all High School Juniors in Illinois.
It has been required for all Illinois High School Students since 2001.
