message from my company law office as the following.
Background Info: I had EB-3 PD 08/2006 with pending 485 submit in year 2007. I changed job to
the current company and got a new EB-2 PERM, I-140 approved last week. Now
I am planning to port my EB-3 PD to my EB-2. But the lawyer office said the
following:
"Since the Department of State (DOS) announced all the EB-2 China visa
number were exhausted on March 23, we do not expect to receive the approval
on your I-485 in the next few months. We will have to wait until mid-
September when the DOS publishes the new visa number for the 2013 fiscal
year. If your turn becomes available in October, we can then ask the USCIS
to adjudicate your I-485. "
Company lawyer sucks when dealing with non-usual cases. Looks like I need to
do my interfiling by myself. I do not believe i still have to wait. |
