请问485 background check 一般多久？
2016年10月交的485，至今已经7个多月了，看来background check还没有完成， “an
element of the background check process not yet complete”。
这个时间正常吗？
P.S. 本人姓和名都不常见，重名应该不多
附USCIS回复议员email:
"......
USCIS electronic records indicate that an element of the background check
process has been initiated in this case; and it is not yet complete.
The adjudication of your constituent’s Form I-485 will continue to be held
in abeyance at the NSC until after the necessary clearance is received.“
