extra USB port besides the one used for programming the device? |

to download program to the board.
yeah, i am doing it as a hobby, so it's ok that i am making slow progress.
please don't hesitate to point me to something intersting to do with my
board. It's a lot of money invested in the board. :)

发帖数: 1112 | 5 that usb interface on your board is for programming. I think it is not conn
ected to the FPGA at all. check out your manual for details.
So you can use it unless you do some white wire work. Xilinx has USB ip for
sale but it is not cheap comparing with your board.

ethernet interface. Has anyone used open core IPs?
I don't know how to use the IPs from open core on my spartan3A board. It'd
be fantastic if I could learn how to do that. They have tons of IPs. |

发帖数: 4307 | 7 a lot of opencores are working or close-to-working modules. you can give
them a shot and often times you might need to modify them a bit to be fully
functional, but they're definitely a good place to start your project
