need to be plunged into a liquid-like sauce, while sauce is a more broad
word for all kinds of cooking liquid...

Good question. I think in daily vernacular, people use those interchangeably
. And I agree the differences are minor. But I do have some food connoisseur
friends, they would most likely point out by saying BBQ involves a slower
cooking process whereas grilling is done much quicker. |
