我理解的diversity应该是people coming from various culture backgrounds and
lift experiences, bearing different opinions or religions, able to inspire
other people in very different ways. Diversity should not be connected with
skin colors.
如果这个越南学生有自己独特的求学经历，就该算。当然我说了也不算。
一个Chinatown底层家庭的孩子，是家里唯一会说英语的人，靠自己打工挣钱求学，成
绩优异，对未来华人落后社区改进有自己独特见解。
上层非洲裔家庭的孩子（譬如总统的女儿）。你说那个更应该被考虑diversity?
