However, DCA requires tons of cash and good planning.
e.g., if 10% every -200 points, and the DOW goes down 2000 points in
2 months, what would you do after 2 months? I personally would feel
extremely bored if I don't have cash on hand to play with.

Not quite. I think the macro market timing is very important. For example,
it is better to start putting money into MM a few months ago (even two years
ago?), and now to do some DCA.
Then sleep and forget about the account.
So the point is: it is too early to catch the bottom?
or
it is better to do DCA when the market begins to rebounce?

I said anytime is a good time. You just need to plan your schedule
so that you won't feel bored -- you can stay in the game for long
term. I personally market-timed for almost 4 years, still didn't
lose my interest yet, hoho. I would have lost the interest if I slept
and forgot about the account.
It's better to DCA on the down trend. On a uptrend you would rather
lump sum.

嘿嘿，作为伪DCA，我2年前就准备DCA，结果还是相信timing，侥幸躲过一劫。后来打
算今年年初开始DCA，结果计算失误，没钱DCA，只能等下半年了
