research，感觉除了收益相对投其他方式有点低以外，在避税（主要是estate tax）和
退休理财方面好像也算个不错的选择。请问我有没有遗漏掉什么？有没有比较全面的讨

我很少看到whole life的讨论（VUL很多）。所以有点糊涂。

发帖数: 7355 | 4 whole life/universal life，别当作投资就好。
超过premium的部分，收益免税，可管理费奇高，自己做，收益高很多。
经不住ld念叨，买的还是跟SP500的，insurance的收益比SP500 index fund低很多，从
此只付premium。 |

Wholelife is exactly term life + investment + a lot of fee paid to the
broker.

Cost of Insurance = Risk * Mortality Rate.
If your cash value have a better growth potential, then the risk will become
lower, therefore the actual COI would be lower.
However, the growth potential is very limited in traditional whole life
policies.
Whether you want to pay less COI depends on if you want to put extra money
utilizing the investment option and how good the investment growth potential
is. |
